Really fun to play! Do wish we had things like league statistics and such so that we can see which of our players are doing well and know them well and stuff.

I first played this game in 2009 and it's so great that I'm here 10 years later still playing!!! This game is my favorite by far!

I wish the throw button wasn't the same as the tackle button; at least 5 times a match, as I go to tackle a player with the ball, I accidentally throw it as soon as I passively gain possession of it

I like how you have the option to bribe the goaile of the next team you face before you even know who they are. That's 100% thug life.

Also you should be able to quickly see which player was who.
One of my players seemed to have the stats of a tank, but I had no idea of where he was placed on the field.

@CrafterFTW: You can reset the controls to anything you like. Look under "Options" > "Player 1 Controls". I just wish that the game were programmed to accept a key event as a top priority. I just tried again on a clean boot, and I still have my ball carrier standing still when I'm pressing a directional key, lack of movement when I give a pass or throw order, and a throwing direction that is at a right angle to the player's direction (display out of synch).

First season, save money from wins, maybe invest in boots upgrade (training is meh right now, you will probably trade away most of your players). At the end of the season, buy a couple better players, especially FASTER players. It is all about speed. There is a reason speed training and boots upgrades are the most expensive. 5 Star speed demon players make it easy to win. Then probably tackling. Passing is dangerous, and even the toughest player gets knocked around. Get fast and run it in. Boots and helmets to make you fast and get your guys up quicker when they get hit.

There should be a way to keep track of stats (ie, Jack Renegade has scored 15 goals this season). Maybe something for Crunchball 4000?

The badges are a bit iffy. The 3 lower ones I got in the 4th division so then spent ages trying to get the last. However, this is probably the best sports game out there. Multiplayer would be excellent, as would a proper transfer market, cup games, maybe more tactical options? Epic, 5 star as it is, but could be even more.
