Great field study on chinese legends and cinema. My criticism is that I can beat the game on any setting with almost any character using exclusively the block+low kick and block+grab+block special/high kick combo. Feng Xiu can spawn his special indefinitely after a block+grab combo. I actually ended up using it because some opponents were in me. The only thing in the whole game that can stop him is the tiger leap. But for that he has a lot of defense. Great game, even if it gets repetitive after a few playthroughs.

Get someone with monkey stance and just pin an enemy to the side with light punches...thats like the easiest way to win fights.

this game is great! really enjoy playing it. you should add like a rising attack after being knocked down, i think it would of helped to keep a faster paced flow to the battles.
also maybe a practice mode?

Man this game is best than much ufc 2010 that i´ve played!!!! simply awesome...the best fighting game i ever played!!!

Something is glitched with endurance. I keep beating the 9th opponent and nothing happens. He just disappears and the 10th opponent never shows up. Please fix this, i love the game.
I wanted to prioritise the chinese styles to keep it like kung fu movies in general. I would like to make a bigger version with more styles,, but im not sure the game is going to do well enough to justify it
Some moves contain a 'grab', and some styles have more of these moves. That challenge is working out when you are in danger of being hit by one of them. Also of course they will just use the normal grab.

Why doesn't my score (37 in endurance mode) appear in all-time chart, but only in today/this week chart? It's clearly the best for now.

YES. BEN OLDING AGAIN. YES. BEST FLASH GAMES' DEVELOPER EVER. iron fist was already the best fighting game i've ever played before, anyone who saw martial arts films HAD TO LOVE IT. and now this... instant 5/5, glad to play this, and i BEG FOR MORE.

I will admit, this game has grown on my more than my previous comment would indicate. But please, adjust Billy Lo's Intercepting Fist move. In Dragon Fist 3, it was extremely fast and recharged quickly, but did low damage. This made it good for, you know, intercepting moves. In this game, it's an ultra-fast, quick-recharging, high-damage win button. I recommend decreasing it's damage, but you could increase it's recharge to the length of, say, the Cyclone special move.

Nice sequel, usually, most games flop on a sequel. This one didn't :). BTW, could you add weps in an update if this game is successful enough?

love this franchise ben olding you truly are a fighting game making master!!
this could be the start of future flash gaming right here!!
though this isnt the best outing in the series (3 is still utter perfection)
I can see how you needed to lose some assets of the franchise to maintain the ability to make this beautiful game but maybe in future games of dragon fist you could return the weapon system and make some more fighters and modes and such :)
10/10 for me man!!
P.S. there is a problem with the characters shadow sometimes when they move the shadow is all around the character which is kinda weird :P

djstatika if this game does well when you bring back weapons i think you should add weapons that you can unlock after completing a tournament stage such as novice maybe you unlock a special sword or something. anyway thats just something to think about

pd. Maybe you already know this, but watch out for the walling physics. It's kinda of a glitch, but when you corner an opponent you can easily defeat them, even the Dragon Master.

In the general aspect I liked this game very much. I played all the other ones, personally don't miss the weapons that much.
LOVED the true choreographics of the fighting styles, really realistic! Specially the Jet Kun Do, the chained punch is awesome, very Wing-Tsun like.
Congratulation for this awesome game, hope to see more customization in the future! That's what this game is truly missing.

instead if picking a style, why not choose individual moves from other styles
(such as the forward kick of tiger with the defesnive hand strike of serptent, etc)
that would make for VERY unique characters!
