Boring, would be more fun if you could add on to the base like a shipyard to spawn allys or other turrets that you can control or AI controlled.. Just kinda boring...

Great. Only problem is you can't decide which power-up you keep. Losing ultra vortex bombs for crappy power-ups that drain all your power for no good effect is frustrating.

wtf?!
Add upgrades, money, something to reward the player. This is a mere 2/5... and that's generous!
(Who rated this 4 or even higher?!?!)

What is this game, it is boring and unrewarding, SF:DG is a fun game, but this isn't. Don't waste your time making these when you can be building ST:DG2 or improving the current one. 2/5.

Agreed with previous poster...there should be a graduated speed increase for movement AND rate of fire. Adding a pause/mute feature would be nice as well. Good idea though!

Hm, the idea of reusing the SF Engine is good - but you could have make something better out of it.. This is quite simple and a bit disappointing. It feels like an afternoon work.. Why don't you build a 4X game around it, something with more depth. Maybe the possibility to create/direct the squads, maybe defending spacestations with your squad (mh, x-com interceptor? :D). I mean - you got the engine, but the idea looks missing.
Since it feels worse than Voidgale (another game in the genre) only 2/5

"Pretty awesome shooter; The graphics are excellent and the audio fits nicely. The controls are simple and on the money. Way to go."............TK

According to the comments, you should change the name to Starfighter: tower defens, like bubble tanks theres bubble tanks and theres a game called bubble tanks tower defense which is totally the opposite of bubble tanks
