You know, it always confused me with what units were affected by what upgrades. For example, does the Whirler get affected by Halberd or Spear upgrades? Does it even get affected by one? And then there were all the units that didn't seem to have any weapon upgrades, like the Flailer and the Giant Troll. Still love the game, but damn it can be surprisingly confusing.

How to beat the devils....FIRST
Chose UNDEAD as they have +3 Halberd,
Buy the Halberdier leaving you with 0 money,
Fight the demons, send all of your troops as Halberdiers in SINGLE FILE.
The ai will continue to do the same after about the 2nd-3rd person you send, But you will have strength in number as these soldiers are very slow, but slow and steady wins the race.
Keep them in line and use the charge if u want, its not necesary though to win any of the battles against the demons or any others for that matter. Just keep upgrading Halberds when u get the chance. + this so others game beat the game and play as demons as well!

Special units: Man allianc= kings guard, Night elves= whirler, North orcs= battle axe, Wood elvs= ranger, South orcs= axe throw, Undead= flailer, West men= javelin, Trolls= giant troll,

General tips for the medium badge:
* Take out the higher Percentage areas first: Especially Night elves, Giant trolls, The undead and Human Alliance. If you don't, their special units will be the shit (Pardon my french) out of you later in the game.
* Spam one unit down a single Line: The unit is different depending on the race. For TU, and OotN, Spam Halberders. For MotW and Human alliance, Spam Swordsman. For Demons; use Spear men. For the other races; that is up to you.
* Use charges when ever possible: Just remember to use your strongest unit. Whirler, for example.
*If a Giant Troll, Whirler, Flailer, Or Kings Guard (Difference between Swordsmen and KG: KG have bigger shields and longer swords) appear: Switch lanes. They still count as one unit, remember that.
* Have fun!: That's what the game is about, Isn't it?

The "Medieval Unity Badge" should be a Hard badge; not a Medium badge, imo. I know its not hard to get, per say, but the amount of time and concentration you have to submit to get the badge qualifies it as a Hard badge. Anyhow, just my opinion.
Overall, great game, just gets extremely repetitive towards the end. 4/5 Go Undead ^-^

STRATEGY: Start with The Undead. Buy the Halberdier and start by taking on the Demons. Turn on autosend and just send Halberdier straight down one line continuously. Upgrade the Halberdier and take out all of the Demons then just go down the line taking out the most difficult first.

It's...meh...ok. It's incredibly dull though. ...I mean mind numbingly, painfully boring. Could be used by the military though. Just point a laptop with this game running at the enemies will all pass out. It's not a bad game per say, just...it's like an un salted Saltine cracker. I'll get the medium..but I won't have any fun doing so.

Got the medium badge in around an hour just by spamming spears in 1 lane playing as Night Elves. Upgrades before the final level were: 1 Speed, 3 Armor, 5 Spears. Try to leave 3-4 easy maps as the final levels so you can easily go through them.

To quickly unlock the demon race, press "c" at the main menu, and type the code "skippy" -- but don't press enter or anything. Just click back to main menu. Then, as soon as a battle starts, press "h" to instantly win. You can finish the game in about a minute this way (doesn't award the badge though) and you'll unlock the demons.

It is simple yet addictive games like this that made me come to love Kong, and I think more and more of these types of games should be made

Easy way to win. Buy scouts and send them in a different line each turn. I beat demons first try using nothing but scouts :P

I reccomend something with strong spear units. Then focus money into spears, speed, and defence. I do not approve of buying too many new units since they're usually useless.

whilers are epic but mountain trolls....i think i cry every time i see a line of those rush through the demons smacking them like it's baseball season :P
