well, I see that a lot of people think they know what to do- but I must say- while those work... I preffer having elves (racial prefferences, don't you know?) and utilizing the whirlers... they are just so awesome to see in action! plus they are the only real way to kill a troll, as opposed to just going around it....

the easiest way to win any battle is to use the halberd units they have a low recharge time for their power if used exclusively you can outnumber then overpower the enemy

here is one trick i like to use:
pick the undead race and buy the halberd,then go battle one world, THEN ONE AFTER ONE SEND THEM LIKE A SWARM OF ANTS,AND WATCH THEM LEECH THE LIFE OF THE OTHER ARMY.MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAMUAMUAMAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAA AMAUMAUAMAUAMUAAUAMAUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Flank is when you put out soldiers on different planes to avoid running into strong units with heavy recharge time, this tactic can easily fall prey to spamming soldiers in a straight line because it can deliver territorial damage quick.
Strong-arm is to stop a pierce (or a butter knife) by sending in heavy cavalry to break through a pierce by having them kill fodder soldiers, they normally won't break through a pierce from a stronger enemy, but the main goal is to build up your charge. However, this tactic can easily be flanked.
Pierce is to spam weak fodder soldiers in a line, when they bunch up they get more powerful, piercing through the weak lines of the flank, but they are easily crushed when the enemy sends out very powerful soldiers.
Pierce > Flank > Strong-arm > Pierce
Pierce; fodder in a line... Flank; fodder on all rows... Strong-arm; break up a line with high attack power soldiers and build charge.

Another addition to the Butter Knife Strategy:
For survival mode (In app version):
Wave Strategy: If you send your units one in each row going down one row each time and then up one row each time after you hit the bottom, it is evenly spreading your units, this is also a good tactic for when your knife is destroyed by a stronger unit. Great against charges as well.

And in my opinion, the Orcs of the South, and Men of the West, are the best because of their ranged special units, trust me a bunch of axe throwers at a distance can down a giant troll easy.
These are the races I think you should kill first (Not in that order exactly but they are prime targets if you want to win on hard, or in app, insane.):
Orcs of the South
Knight Elves
Undead

As always, DJStatika is capable of creating a fantastic game with brilliant gameplay, massive replay value, and immense fun. His graphics are still lackluster, however.

the best race to choose for quick gaming is the undead. They have a massive halberd bonus with only their archery to lose, which for this strategy is unimportant.
At the beginning of the game, buy the halberd units. On the map, avoid the Orcs of the South and the Men of the West for a bit; they're hard because of their axe throwers and javelins. Of course, if you enter a battle with the OotS or the MotW and they DON'T have axe throwers or javelins, then by all means, fight them; they won't be as hard.
In normal battle, just hold down the space bar with the halberd units selected, which sends a line of halberdiers down the same lane. Naturally, the CPU will follow up by sending units down the same path. Your halberdiers will crush them. Don't worry about other units in other lanes; the gains will catch up with the losses. Keep an eye out for charges. When you can charge, charge with the halberdiers.

I was just playing this game on another website and loved it. It said to get the full game I have to go to kongregate, and here I am, and I have never regreted it! :)

Very nice game all around.
It would acquire a +1 Awesome bonus if there was a counter in the battles showing how many units on each side had been killed, in addition to the counter showing how many have been killed altogether to that point in the game.

awesome game here is a tip use 3 of a last units (such as long swords man etc that you bought) then use a second strong unit i recomend hailberder then wait for enemy units to come out then send em out when you get a charge use strongest unit you have then use a unit in a middle to perform a arrow head attack it works please use this and note if you get another charge with the arrow head attack i call it the final order please try if you have another charge so arrow head attack+a charge=victory and charge+units in middle =arrow head attack and =a big advantage and victory.
