YvAd; The shard is not dropped my the guards, you have to search the caves for the room that has a giant spider, it is one of the guardians of the shards. You will get the shard as a drop from the spider

Hmm. Apparently, i am messing something up. I killed the guards in the first cave. Now, i have the quest to get the heartstone. i have been all over in the cave, and killed 50+ guards, hoping the shard was a drop. Anyone know what to do now?

is it better to side w/ the merchants of the mercenaries if im an ranger? I know the mercenaries allow you to rent a mage, a ranger, and a warrior, but the merchants single warrior is better, and more useful. Also which one sells more ranger friendly equipment?

Rangers kick ass. Warriors are allright. But wizards really suck ass. I beat the game with all three types on epic and I didn't die at all with the Ranger and the Warrior. But of course I died three times with the wizard.

Um i am level 14 and i got 10000 gold so this game seems really easy and boring when you get stuck on the shard quest i would probaly be happy KNOWING HOW TO DO THIS FRICKING QUEST

Just defeated the game, though only on normal setting. but having a ranger with wind charged stone rune arrows can take down anything and not get hurt. had a few quarrels with larger groups getting pulled, but it all went pretty swiftly. Great game 6/5

FOR ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH RIDDLE BADGE: Just go the city, save the game and restart the game. Worked for me

Hm. As a lvl 25 archer, the Spellbound Guardian seems to be impossible. I hire as many allies as I can, but the Guardian just spawns his weak guards and heals every time it seems like I have a hope of killing him. He doesn't wander around, so I can't get him in an Ice trap, and my allies can survive, but they can't kill the Guardian. Any help?

After you completed a Riddle the riddler says: Make sure you've found my friends and answered their riddles too. There's a total of THREE* of us around Tempor.
*Three? i meant it are 4 Riddlers?

Also the gambling thing is so easy if you know how to do it.I went from 600 gold to 2000 gold in just 7-8 minutes and i barely did it at all.

That looks so epic!!!When you buy 4 brutes in the begining and start the shard quest then you go into the cave and get like 5 gaurds joining you so you look so badass with your army of 8 or so just powning like 3 guys!!! :P

ugh.... level 40 ranger, last area almost ready to go get the heartstone and my comp crashes and i lose EVERYTHING. great game, addicting even, but it has some glitches. 4.5/5

Max allie bug: If you already got max allies(bought) and then For example accept the quest from the man out of the first cave you get 6 allies :D. I fighted strangleweb and couldnt kill it, my warriors PWNED him.

The Riddle badge seems broken. I completed 4/4 (and the whole game), got the game completion badge, but Riddle badge still showing 2/4 ...

@PrimoPlinio Yeah, I experienced the exact same thing. I can't even click exit game when I load the corrupted save, everything keeps spasming and all stats are 999.

My game is bugged!! I am lvl 25, and when I try to load, my lvl is 99, with hp999 energy999, and the maps keep rolling.

Why downrate Fallacia? The exact same thing happened to me, only that it happened after I defeated the third boss. When I tried to start a new game, I only got a black screen.

roller322, the riddlers are not shown in the maps, make sure you explored all the sqares, even if itm is nothing on them

great game, i thought i did everything, i beat the black council (allthough i think there are 2 story paths) but i never found even 1 riddle....
