@TheMuffinMan420 i just got that achievement (at 3:25am, i've been up all night playing this lol) by using some warriors upgraded to titans for the AoE damage, a lot of shock towers, and some battle standards and power totems. i had been around 150-220k damage with other setups, but then this one hit 313k. since it was so high, you can afford some error. i think i only had 9 lives left, so it's not like you need to kill everything and you'll barely make the barrier. just keep trying and experiment with the shock towers, cause the damage they deal is just obscene. good luck!

increase the amount of HP they have, double the wave quantity, and then add the maximum # of waves possible. :) and good luck! :) PS it might help to increase the damage dealt level for your character and your troops, to the maximum amount. ;)

@sirdarksol: Battle Standards drop speed by a fixed amount, and once it hits 1, it fires that stream you spoke of. The only difference is that Guard Towers drop their firing speed at upgrade, and nothing else does, really, so they're the first one to get that chaingun effect.

Speed upgrades from Battle Standards seem broken. If a Guard Tower is affected by three or four Battle Standards, it fires a steady stream of arrows/bolts/cannonballs, reminding me of the Super Monkey from the Bloons series. The other towers have a much more limited rate of fire, even if affected by the same Battle Standards. Ends up making a single Guard Tower far more dangerous than a seriously upgraded Hero.

Any tips for hitting 250k damage for the bonus challenge? That's the very last achievement i need to get the 'hard' achievement, and I've been trying for days to get it with no luck.

Good game, but perhaps (I hate to say it) take some hints from Gemcraft. Nearest to exit is a generally favored targeting choice. Also, being able to overlap waves would also be nice, the game seems unintentionally slow. On that note, when I click the speedup button, it barely seems to speed it up...

i'm confused... as of right now, the maximum amount of waves that I can possibly send is limited to 45ish, a far cry from the 80 required for the maximum level of the challenges... how can I send up to 80?

@fuedal For the heck of it, I built many minus fire rate towers around one map to get my fire rate down as low as possible. A steady stream of bullets, etc, is amazing to watch.

@booyah10, I often have 8+support towers all opperating on the same single tower. (well, all of my towers, actually. I build the most compact possible, to maximize the effects of support towers.) and, that means that even though their specific damage is low, add on the effects from doubling the damage (say, 30 direct damage, 28 from support towers) rate, and you get quite high damage overall... plus, I didn't say that the Shock tower is bad, I just said you don't REALLY need it... it makes a great 2nd subclass, in my mind! ;) incidentally, ranger's get VERY little XP when there are wizard and guard towers around- the wizard and guard towers both kill off most of everything before the ranger's get a chance. same problem, but even worse, with the blademasters...

Lol after getting ally status with 3-4 factions, I realized that getting a subclass that costed 1k didn't replace the first one xD

@fuedalismrocks bomb towers have relatively low attack damage, more so the splash damage. so even if the attack rate is 0, it will take some time before you can actually kill something esp. if they have high health and armor

@GALLADE, you can also go for the bomber.... after all, at 0 time for shooting, with an AOE effect, I highly doubt anythings actually going to get through....

@sisel, i know, why don't you try taking a screenshot of your page when you just finished the blade edge map, showing that your "total upgrades" is above 40. report it and hopefully it works

@booyah10: thats is exactly what i have, but i can get it... 12 upgrades of champion talents, 22 upgrades of commander talents and 6 upgrades in attributes... I have no idea what im doing wrong with this blade edge chalange :( everything else i already have finished.

When you have reached the levelcap of 45, you don't get awarded any badges anymore, or so it seems...
Problem is, you don't get the challenge badges either.
So IF YOU WANT TO OBTAIN THE GRAND CHAMPION BADGE; YOU MUST COMPLETE THE 9 CHALLENGES BEFORE REACHING LEVEL 45!!!!!!

@sisel for the blade edge challenge, all you have to do is finish the map with 40 total (basic and sub-class) upgrades in 1 game. i recommend adding 30 waves and others to delay the game.

After battle result shows me having 5 allies total. Badge page shows.. rank 3, meaning I have 4 allies according to the game - seems a bug indeed.

Max waves in any of the levels: 25. Max extra waves: +30. How on earth do we get a 100 waves achievement then? - Also, the 2,3,4,5,6,7 allies badge is 1 battle behind the current state each time you earn a new ally it seems.

Game also needs a statistics overview, so you can see how many towers/units youve built across all battles so far,.. as the badge page does not give any clear indication on this

since the towers fire closest enemy to its location first, therefore place towers at entrance to lower the wave h.p. and place guards near (but not close) to exit. place wizards close to exit they seem to be most effective at close range. the champion can be used first at the entrance and then if required shift to back to for finishing touches. For stealth, use range in center where they can cover wide area, and upgrade to detect stealth, OR best used flying-swords near entrance to remove their stealth mask. splash effect of wizards also reduce stealth enemy hitpoints. Overall a amazing game with hours of playtime

sometimes, when i decrease the firing rate of the towers they fire slower... I don't know why. It's weird, is it just me?

Found a crazy bug. At the level completion screen, the noise from gaining badges gets "stuck" and you hear it for the rest of the game unless you refresh the page.

My main dude misses a lot. Especially far shots, but sometimes even close ones. He tends to miss when the attacker is in the upper right quadrant heading down. I don't mean the "miss" text that some enemies have a shield for. I mean the arrows simply go wide. I played with the ranger class. Found the game ez 2 beat.
