By the time I had finished all the Mercenaries quests that I could get up to that point, I only had 1948/3000 reputation, so I needed 1052 rep just to be able to get up to Ally status in order to get the last quest. The only way I could do that is to just keep killing Merchant Guild enemies again and again and again only getting 5 rep per enemy even for the most powerful ones, meaning I needed to defeat a total of 211 of the most powerful enemies just to be able to get up to Ally status, and then when I had finally gotten up to Ally status and got the last quest... I had to defeat another 30 of the same type of enemies. REALLY? This was the most boring, grindy part of any game I've ever played, and I've played a lot of games. Evidently, the developer didn't test this game properly, if at all. I know that this is summed up perfectly in odomaster's comment, but it's such a big issue, I felt I had to comment on it myself.

You know, King Lightwarden would be difficult enough by himself. Why does there need to be two stupid Gamemasters and a stupid Paladin with him that keep coming back no matter how many times you kill them?

purplegodess did you actually beat the game? For you have to complete the entire game to get the badge. Other than that I'm not sure, maybe its glitched

I've got the Heartstone (equipped as Jewel), got my 3 factions to ally, and yest "Game Completed" not ticked? What do I have to do to complete the game?

"Thank you for completing the quest, here's your reward."
*You take the reward, then proceed to slay everyone there due to another quest*
Nobody suspects a thing!

My problem with this game is that it does not explain the finer details of the game, like what attribute points are for. it just gives them to you and doesn't say why you need them. TIP: Spend attribute points by clicking on the little '+' next an attribute you would like to increase. For Rangers don't increase Strength or Focus. For Warriors don't increase Agility or Focus. For Wizards don't increase Agility or Strength. These attributes are completely useless to those classes. Intelligence and Vitality are the only two that are worthwhile to all three classes as they increase max Energy and Energy Recovery rate, and max Health and Health Recovery Rate, respectively.

I already finished the game, got all allies and killed the last boss, but I still havent got the "game completed" check of the hard badge, what should I do?

Ally status requires excessive grinding and equipment has stats on it that are useless to you. Ranger gear should not have strength or focus on it and vice versa for rest of gear.

The new Elder Scrolls VI is lookin' pretty great! 9/10- nice graphics, awesome gameplay, great replayability. Too bad they've removed the fast travel tho.

*Firebolt whizzes by head*
Guy1: "You hear something?"
Guy2: "Not unless you get hit within my proximity."
Guy1: "Oh, alright then, must have been my imagination..."

Very entertaining, engaging, and worth many hours of play. However, it feels...unfinished. It's quite buggy, the problem with becoming allies with the merchants or mercenaries has been mentioned enough already, there's barely any kind of AI other than shoot/charge or occasionally teleport, leveling is a slog on its own...it's a good game with many glaring issues, and it feels like even a little bit more polishing before release could have made it much better than it already is. I'm also not *personally* a fan of the forced leveling in order to use equipment or upgrade skills, but that is my own preference and not something I'll consider a flaw on the game's end.

Hey, you see those guys standing around over there, minding their own business? Why don't you go over and murder a bunch of them for me?

Would have been a nice game if I didn't have to kill 480 enemies just to get my "ally" status with the factions. Do some tuning on the faction reputation gain from quests and it is fine.

@Hienaus: copying from Kidkoala's comment: If you've already beaten the "final" black boss and you don't get the hard badge, here's why: That's not the final boss. You have to complete one more quest, which is located in the north alliance camp near the red castle for those who had chosen the alliance and in the east shadow runner's camp near the red castle. The real final boss is on the north-west, between the two rivers.

How do you unlock the final boss?? I completed the circle and have since explored every square on the board. Did I miss something or did it glitch on me?

There should always be an auto save slot AND a manual save slot; or an auto save at the end of every defeated X/X enemies/boss (right after killing the last one) that comes on asking yes or no to save then. Other than that, the only other thing that's kind of irritating is that you need energy for your default basic attack. You could have programmed it to do about 10% less damage in exchange for not costing energy and I'd have been satisfied.
