Shadow Runners
To get last quest after all 4 Hearthstone pieces are collected, go to the Shadow Runner camp thats under Merchant's Guild and at the East Border of the maps final continent.
You get quest called The Final Blow, this boss is lvl 35 and is located in middle Continent at very top beside the River of First Continent where you began and on its right is an Alliance Camp.
Get few health potions as this boss can go immune to stuns/slows after first few are applied on him. Pull the 3 mobs in front of him by themselves and kill them, then quickly pull the boss out of that spot so you can 1vs1 him.

cheese strat for fighting end boss buy a lot of potions there ya go XD and just spam them you shouldnt die ever if you have about 2k health

I'm a level 32 shadowrunner/merchant/ranger, completed every quest and finished the Heartstone, but I can't find the boss. There's no one in the lower right square of the upper right section, nor in any other empty square on the map as far as I can tell. Am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated.

@Piqueniale When you turn in the last heartstone piece the guy tells you what to do but it's not technically a quest so it doesn't show up in the quest log. It's easy to miss. But you have to go down in the most southeastern corner in the red castle area. Not the entire map, just the area with the red castle right down where that un passable line of bushes is. You have to kill the big overlord guy or whatever. Assuming you sided with the alliance. If you were with the shadow runners I can't imagine it's too different just look around that area for the big final boss guy.

Okay, the game is great but, how do you complete it? I am level 38, have all the abilities maxed, have the heartstone equipped, am allies with 3 of the factions, and have reduced the enemy factions to 0/3000 kill on sight. How the f do you get the last badge if the game cannot be completed?

Maybe I'm getting too old for games, but I think the ice cave monster which for no good reason becomes immune to frostbite and bonds of air after one hit is a sure way to obliterate my will to play.

I finally got the hard badge for too long. Farming for the Shadow Runners and Mercenaries is really annoying but it's a good game :)

for those of you who are confused about the merchants hating you even tho youre doing their missions, its cuz there are 2 merchants in every city, one is a merchants guild guy and one is a merc guild trader, you can tell by their emblem that pops up in their speech bubble while you try to talk to them, to get all armor and weapons possible then don't do either of their missions until you get to the last town and buy what you wanted already

After you get the stone go back up east of the 4th cave and then you'll get last quest. Was it really that hard for someone else to write this? Damm...

i never understand why my slow become shorter the more i use it on boss ,it suck to down 3/4 of the boss life easy then you can't kill him because you can't control him and he just reck you in few sec.

Yay finally managed to get the hard badge. Took ages to get the three factions allied because of lack of quests :-( but nice game!

There I was farming merchants for ally status with mercs, find 3 purple drops and all 3 of them were for other classes, go back to city to sell items, figure out I am still wearing level 9 studded boots.
10/10 Would never get the right drops again.

Uh-oh. So I found this half-bridge and walked into the river. Walked all over it but couldnt climb back up. So I walked off the endge of the map and the game crashed. Funny)

near the end with the champions gauntlets, they seem to have a problem showing theyre equipped aside from the stats change.

This is a good game, but the cost of the health and energy potions goes up as I level up, and that is not very good. Also, the range of my arrows keep changing, that should have a definite range.

Equipment levels always confuse me in games. Hmm these pants give me a whole lot more power than the ones I'm wearing... but i don't feel ready enough to wear them.

Really enjoyed this game, only issue was when you completed the game, I had spend some time grinding out my level killing 100s of guards for it reset when I completed the game, otherwise 5/5

after farming stupid rep for 30 minutes, on my way to save I went down a screen and got stuck inside a building... not worth it to restart from my last save point.. goodbye poor coding

why are people calling this game old? i've been playing since atari and c'mon, we had already AMAZING graphics by 2008. it's not always about graphics, it's about what the devs are willing to do with their time and skills. i think this game is engaging and fun. <3 rpg!

grinding mercenaries to level 35 to get merchant faction for the final quest, only for the quest to be - grind mercenaries. no thanks 2/5 stars.

Mm..I probably would have loved to play this back when it was first released, but I just don't have the time to get into long and involved RPGs anymore. Shows how much gaming has changed. :/

PJ6211, I'd rather Kong give BotD to a million of these games than ever give badges to Pay to Win games. The fact that they have to change off to badged games every day means you're going to play some older ones. As for the fact that they wouldn't rate that today, the argument is a poor one, and is easily equated to people saying that about Super Mario Bros. Games have to start somewhere, and their current form is due to the ones that came before.

@PJ6211; Without games like these, you wouldn't have loads of games today. Every flash, every point 'n click, -every- game matters in the grand scheme. Games like this aren't bad, they're rustic (though could've used a bit of development in most areas). Most idle and tower defence games however, well... count how many made you glad you played them.
