The game's mechanics are fundamentally solid, but you can tell that it hasn't been updated in years. The number of times I take random damage for no reason gets annoying really quickly.

if you move your mouse (on the laptop at least) while clicking on the walk and jump keys, it makes the character listen to the comands better. it's still really difficult but someone with more patience than me can get the achievement. good luck :)

I like how in 2006 they didn't know using a completely different button to jump was useless. They also didn't know using space as a pause button makes no sense. But otherwise pretty good game for 2006

uhhh... I got stuck in the ground at the slope with two spiders. A spider attacked me while i was on the hill going downwards and got stuck through the ground.

So I start playing a game that says World 1, but it gives me a choice of Worlds 1 and 2. I click up not even close to door 1 (let alone 2) and he runs forward past door 1 in to door 2 and opens another game and he's gone from this one. Atrocious. ANOTHER 1/5 for a Kongregate game. I need to find a better platform.

It's a not the "actual" original one as the animation is smoother and such, but nonetheless this game is still stay's fancy.

Back then all those animations were needed, back then in 2006 and trust me dev won't come back to fix some lag issues in a game that is technically the first game on kong

It would be nice if the game wasn't filled with lag that had you fall through the floor. Plus dear god, Brad Borne if you're reading this, FIX THE 30PT BADGE!!
Or at least make time stop for animations that take a million years, such as the doors, and the animation that plays when you enter the gosh-dang boss that takes a grocery shop trip with your parents before you can actually fight. And even then, you have to wait even longer for the Penguin to charge up his "attack".
I'm glad I completed the badge for the Your First Quest badge back when it was possible to complete this game in under 180 seconds...

Getting the hard badge is really difficult when the game randomly lags sometimes and you stop gaining speed or fall through the floor.

This game is pretty short. I beat it in 12 minutes and I'll try to do it in under 3 minutes now. Going inside world 2 freezes the game. Maybe link to the Kongregate version of The Fancy Pants Adventure World 2 instead of Armorgames. And don't freeze the game, because people may want to get the hard badge for this game before playing World 2 without having to reload.

i always get these huge lag spikes in the game and when they happen, I fall through things, even the whole map sometimes. I'm going for the hard badge which is making this much harder because I just got a time of 182.73 and I would have definitely gotten under 180 if I hadnt fell through the map..

As an access issue for those with limited dexterity or those who are using a mouthstick to control the game (as I am), would you please make the Jump command use the Up arrow and change the Open Door command to something else – maybe O? Thanks. Otherwise, I love the game!

Baaad clipping and frame skipping. Boo.
OTOH, 5* on the animation.
Desperately needs a slide kick so that you're not constantly slamming into spiders in the middle of a sweet grind.

A fun and somewhat challenging game that is immediately ruined by countless bugs. It really discourages me to get the hard badge when all of a sudden my screen lags, and the character is thrown into a different section of the map for some reason.
