A lot of flash games of this age are having a similar problem. The only way to fix it is to switch to internet explorer or firefox, because the recent version of Flash does something to these games, and those browsers use an outdated version.

Completely agree with Sir Mildred. This game is the laggiest online game I've ever encountered, no matter the machine I use.

I have been waiting for YEARS to finally get my "Your First Quest" badge. This game was way too laggy on my old computer to complete it. So I get a new computer, top of the line, and i'm already to jump in to this game. Expectin it to be all nice and smooth. But nope. Just as laggy as before. Maybe even worse. I can't even open the first bloody door. I lightly tap the right arrow and he runs all the way past the door.
Please kongregate! Choose a different game for the badge. This game is just broken.

Game was a bit unreceptive at times. But overall, a good game. I'd class this as more of a platform game to an adventure game. 4/5
