Kongregate: Play free games online

Under rating threshold (show) Good concept, but it really lacks in that you can only play with people on the same computer. Please make online play, it would improve this game a lot in my opinion. Plus, maybe a menu for upgrades and stuff, custom controls (player 2 should really be controlled with WASD, most people who use buttons other than arrow keys are used to WASD so it makes things a little harder using other buttons), and maybe making the battle field larger (maybe so large you can explore a little looking for upgrades and enemy players). Oh, and to shoot, you press the ? key, not shift. (Below comment)

Under rating threshold (show) first time commenting, but I like the game, however if you are looking for new things to do with it, you could try making the controls customizable or letting the player choose which ship he uses in single player, otherwise, I love the game, simple but fun and straight forward.

Under rating threshold (show) Yes, BattleStar is still in its infancy, so it's quite simple, and a little pointless. The high scores weren't working before, I don't know why, but I guess now they are so they can start being filled up again. Thank you for your comment!

Under rating threshold (show) By the way, I found a bug that you may or may not have noticed, and I will fix it soon. The instructions list the SHIFT Key as the firing button, when in reality it is the ?/ key. Sorry if this has been confusing anyone. I'll fix it at once.

Under rating threshold (show) Thank you all for your comments! I will definitely change the shift key, and though it will probably take a day or two, expect to see at least some kind of fix for the top-score bug. I am having trouble importing from kongregate, so I'll probably just show the top score gotten on your computer. I was not aware of the bug Jebula refers to with text, could someone please add some more details so I can pinpoint it, please. I will also give some thought to the backround, but that won't be changed until at least Monday. At the very least, the Shift key will be changed tonight. Thank you all so much for your comments.

Under rating threshold (show) There still seems to be a bug regarding high scores. Right now the screen says "Your score was: 288 - Top score is: 85". My score was sent, but 85 was my first attempt. There are a few small things. The text in the top-left keeps moving, which caught my attention for a brief moment a few times. Also, the background could be lighter (a nebula rather than stars works). Finally, a bit of variety would be nice (even if the enemies only looked different). Other than that, not bad.

Under rating threshold (show) A word about high scores - Due to a malfunction on my part, the highest score does not display when you finish a one or two player team game. I'll work to fix this. Only ONE High score is calculated. You must be the best to place. Good luck!
