Under rating threshold (show) I understand you don't want to continue the game because of the spirit of the event, so just leave the original and make a second one! PLEASE!!!!!

Under rating threshold (show) different levels with different goals would be good. maybe even different types of vehicles. or a vechile editor perhaps. found it funny that i left the mouse in neutral and the cars ended up killing each other on a straight damn road.......did you model these drivers on people in my neighbourhood?????? :) :) :)

Developer response from duckets

I'm enjoying reading all the suggestions for gamplay here, however because this game was made in a few hours for a 48h game jam it wouldn't really be in the spirit of the event to continue to add gameplay features after the time limit so I'm going to leave it as-is. However I am looking into adding stats/badges for all the interesting things that you can currently choose to do in the game, and I'll consider all ideas for a sequel if I have time!

Under rating threshold (show) Add an option where you can change the speed of the cars... It's a bit boring to wait 5 minutes every time you want the cars to reach 100 mph :3

+ - !

Developer response from duckets

Agreed, however as mentioned above, the game was produced for a 2-day gamejam and as such I kind of have to leave it as-is. I will try to add stats/badges for things like number of cars remaining at 100mph :)

Under rating threshold (show) Really neat concept. It would be cool to see this expanded upon.

Under rating threshold (show) This is incredibly addictive; the control scheme is spot on, it's simple to pick up and play and when the 'determined' blue car rammed the orange off the road to take the lead, I was completely sold. Bit of 'gamification' (different game modes? Perhaps: you have to encourage one car to win? You have to stop one rogue car with aggressive AI from destroying the rest?) and this is a total winner.

I'm looking into adding stats/badges for these kind of things right now.

Under rating threshold (show) imagine if this was made into a multiplayer game, one random person is picked to be the road, the rest races. even features such as upgrades could be added, better wheels, awesome cosmetics (tinted windows, paint, neon lights etc) or for the road, banners along the side, pot holes, maybe even other stuff to drop on the road like lose tires or oil for different effects as you progress. maybe even special stuff for completed achievements, such as "survive so and so many races" or "destroy everyone so and so many times" to show off that you're a maniac! - Ohhh the mayhem!! that's something I'd get addicted to for sure.

Under rating threshold (show) This is just... amazing and HAS to be made into a full game. It's one of the most unique games I've ever seen. Not only is it unique and very fun, it's also incredibly dynamic. That open so many possibilities and takes it to another level. It's beyond fun. It's exciting as hell..and different every time. And the fact that the cars are actually intelligent (except for swerving all over)makes it even better. There's nothing more amazing then watching how the cars try to stay alive.Getting them to 80 mph, then throwing in some blocks and a hill, then watch them all try to avoid them. But then they smack into a block, and do all kinds of crazy flips. As one car is flipping like an Olympic diver, in the background; massive explosions. Truly incredible.

Under rating threshold (show) Just a few suggestions if you do decide to improve on this game. Upgrades. Either for cars or for controlling the road. For example if you add upgrades to cars (more points the longer you survive, more points for creating turns, jumps, etc... so people don't just keep a straight road to cheat) add more traction, better handling, higher durability or something and so on. For road control, higher sensitivity, ability to deploy things to help or destroy cars (speed boost or oil to make cars slip). It all depends which direction you want to take the game in, or do both in separate modes. One where you get a higher score for helping cars and one where cars get tougher to destroy over time (they upgrade automatically as time passes, higher traction/handling, etc...)

Under rating threshold (show) At first, this game was just about car slaughter. Certainly I obliged at first, but the 3rd time, I noticed him. The red car. He was determined, energetic – so full of life. I began to make the path easier so Red could persevere. And he did, growing more confident and assured – “look what I can do, Road! I can do this! Let me show you!” And I was proud. I am proud... The first time it happened, Magenta just edged Red off a bit. “HEY”, I exclaimed, but I am just the road, how could they hear? Red started to feel worried – alone. I started to feel alone. I missed Red. So I continued to make the path easier and anxiously waited for Red to catch up. He did. I rejoiced as I saw a confident Red on my pavement again. Then Magenta returned. I will never forget it. I swear on my flesh and stone, Magenta rammed Red off the road. Red combusted. If concrete could cry, it would. I tried to believe that Blue was just as good, an unsung hero –but it wasn’t the same. I’ll miss you, Red. I’ll miss you.

Under rating threshold (show) IMHO it would be rather interesting to control one of cars and create the road at the same time. Duckets, this game have potential and you know it. More then thousand people want to see a sequel with advanced gameplay. You have the-power-of-developer: ability to make people a bit happier with your creation. So, please, do not disappoint us. Sorry for naivety and, perphaps, my english. Thanks for your attention.

Under rating threshold (show) Please Sir. I beg of you. We all beg of you. Make another, With multiple car types, customizable cars, an easier to handle Trap to Road making system (or whatever). If you make a bigger and better version of this, It will definitely win money, I'd vote for it. And if you don't make another one, then someone else will, With blackjack and hookers.

Under rating threshold (show) I know the developer said that they don't want to or can't expand on the game because of the 48 hour competition but why can't you just make a clone of this game that's not for the competition or whatever and expand on that? Or just make an identical game and call it the extended edition or something. It would be a shame to see a game with this much potential just be left as is.

Under rating threshold (show) A multiplayer version of this would be great, were you have one player controlling the road and the other players be the drivers. To win the drives must survive some amount of time while the road player and other drivers try to crash them. This solves the problem with how bad the drivers are in the games, even going smooth and straight they crash.

Under rating threshold (show) YOU HAVE TO MAKE A SEQUEL! this game has so much potential! you should put in options for the kinds of hazards deployed, set up challenges, AI, (so that the cars can ram each other purposely), allow weapons for the CARS, too.
