Hey, Kongregate staff, why does this game still have no badges?? It's been on for nearly six months, 300k+ plays and a rating higher than many other games with badges.. So, please add badges to this one!

Average Survivor: OK, I've been told to abandon the building and escape to the nearest depot. But first, I'm going to stand here and do nothing while zombies swarm towards me. Even if I survive, I may just stand here for a while longer.

Fun game! Super Legit! Loved it, was sad it was over. Half the campaign was training was hoping there would be a second island or something when I finished the island. Oh well looking forward to another one that is even more in depth and has a lot more levels. Also could use a little more challenge in the next one for me. Maybe instead of just sound the zombies 'roam' or something so it adds a constant threat, not just when expanding your base or when the timer goes off. But it was lots of fun, hope you are working on another. 5/5
FYI, there are tens of thousands of levels online you can play and billions of random levels available. I'm working on the sequel and will let people know when it is released via my profile page. :)

This is a ridiculously great game. Easy, yet challanging strategy, but i'll re-say the various things people say need to be fixed. A vacate supplies button for a depot would be nice. Also a prioritise button would be helpful (Get this done first.) and finally, this game REALLY needs better pathing. For the larger, community maps (Spaghetti and kill box, to name a few) are really fun and actually challanging, but after awhile, there are too many things to keep track of, civvies stop moving, the game freezes, and then the zomb's kill you. I recognize that its hard to fix a lga issue like that, but it's the only thing keeping this from being a 10/10 game.

Would be nice to have multiplayer mode; two players, competing for resources, all the while fighting off giant hordes of Zed.

Sniper "Hey, how are you doing? Look I'm out of boards over here so could you get some?"
Survivor "Ok, lets see... sorry look like this barricade needs our last 10 boards, so I'l take them over there"
Sniper "Oh no, the zombies are coming but I cant shout at them because my tower isn't complete, even tho i have a gun and enough ammo to shout them! Well, I guess I'll just aim at him and wait until he gets here!..
Oh no, the zombie broke my incomplete tower! I guess I'll just run to that black corner of the map, attracting all the other zombies on my way!"
Zombie 1 "Hey, look, there's a guy running over there!"
Zombie 2 "Lets eat them and attack his base! Even tho I'm seen this guy first time in my life, I know exactly where his base is!"
Hahaha. Sorry about the bugs. But regarding zombie behaviour, you need to be aware of their keen sense of smell (see the Zombipedia for details). They can track survivors back to camp using it...

I keep on coming back playng hoping that someday the browse game will work again, but also because I love to come back to this "place", anybody else undestands the feeling?

do you think you can add more buildings for map editor? it would be kinda cool if you added a new building like a gas station; and if you could choose how the rubble could look like, that would be pretty cool too.

Just an aside to the creator: The amount I've enjoyed this game goes beyond the 5 star rating I gave it. I've kept coming back and sinking hours into it since it made the front page, which is a lot more that I can say for a whole bunch of other games. There are hiccups here and there (like snipers waiting on supplies from the farthest possible depot rather than the fully stocked one right next to them) but overall you've done an excellent job. Keep up the good work.

Some extra key commands for new players: space = pause, v = show field of fire, ~ = speeds up game (toggle ~ to set speed normal).

@palutcaifiu1127: You can demolish your buildings by choosing the Flee option, which leaves a pile of the resources stored in the building as well as those used to build and upgrade it (for sniper posts). Re: No more Browse Maps; The dev posted on July 8, 2015 that the service used for the online maps was being phased out by Google and thus they would be going away. Unfortunate, but these things happen.

@kodemonkey there are some websites that have the codes to copy and paste for some maps.
I've been playing again a lot lately and I really wish the bug that turns maps white sometimes when loading was fixed. Or a sequel. A sequel would be amazing.

Why is it that sometimes I have people who are not doing anything, and barricades that need more boards, but the survivors aren't doing anything about it?

awesome concept for a game, and lots of potential for improvements, more tower types, more weapon ammo types, more resource types, specialist survivors, etc. And of course.. mutant zombies...

What a fantastic game. I really feel the pain when I fail to prepare adequately for an attacking horde and I watch my trusting companions turn as my defenses fail.

Excellent game! Just a few bugs that need to be worked out. I would like it if someone would make a series of levels designed as a story arc. That would be awesome.
