Hmm i build a sniper tower like the tutorial says and shot in the air to get the zombies attention. Problem is they overrun my sniper tower and mission failed... fail tutorial instructions?
I apologize about this. On that tutorial mission, the chances of success if you follow the instructions are quite high. But I didn't rig it to guarantee success. So there is the possibility of your gun just missing a lot allowing you to be overrun. In SC2's tutorial, I will leave the training wheels on a bit longer until the player has more experience.

this game needs a way to type numbers into the supply depots, instead of sitting there clicking the + or - button a hundred times

i wish there were achievements for this game and i really wish there was a second one the game kicks ass its as fun as rebuild.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
funny... Does anybody recognize Rebuild and Shattered Colony? They're practically the same thing, only that if the bridges are out then no zombies can cross by bridge... Hmm. This will take quite a bit more study to find out what truly made duerig and all those others want to make zombie games.

After looking at an item in the zombipeidia, I would rather the "close" button go back to the zombipedia, not the main screen.

Don't see anybody else mentioning it but I thought I would. For some reason, it always says I have negative survivors available for work but usually I can assign a few more to a task before I'm actually out of available helpers. Great game 5/5 and thanks for all the updates.

Another nice enhancement would be to show the radious of the supply depot in a similar mannor as the sinper tower (but without the buildings blocking it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be a nice enhancement to show buildings in green on the mini map that are cleared and still have resources in them
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
seems like a nice game, but the game dosent seem to tell you in any way how to scout a building, only mentions that you could scout them. anyone happen to stumble on how to?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@kelsenellenvial there is a way to move resources. Click the gather resources button or increase the number on the building

2 more things, on the editor you can add people to towers but can't take them away. when you have idle people, have them auto work. like if there is a workshop they would help or if your trying to take apart a blockade they will help, its really frustrating when you have a take apart a blockade with 1000 wood using only 1 person and you need it taken apart ASAP. also having an option to move resources will help a lot, its frustrating when you want to upgrade a tower but can't because the depot does not have resources but the one just out of the range have 500+ of bullets and wood. have an option to spread resources out equally or something like that.

i have died many times because when i saw some zombies coming i build a sniper tower it get people and bullets but no one actually builds the thing and i am sitting there "GET THAT F*CKING WOOD THERE NOW!!!!"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
having too many survivors over a 100 I believe casues the survivors to be unresponsive and causes a lot of bugs like a warehouse having too man stuff.

make a zombie version where you decide how many zombies to attack the humans the more levels won more zombies you get sounds cool or what?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Has anyone helse had a problem getting back into the game after opening the instructions? I can't get the close button to work.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
drago I like you're idea but its a bit well... hard, because one house could become a army of zombies then if you can't get it agian you're screwed, maybe hire someone to make a game for you??
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Zombie spawning should be in houses you left for to long and they turn into nests (the longer you leave it the bigger it gets)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
here's something hilariously ironic about the idea of humans slowly spreading out like a plague to eradicate an island full of zombies.
i started playing from the beginning that this game was uploaded and i have never seen software (paid for or otherwise) so heavily updated. two thumbs up for this guy on improving the game.

I strongly disagree with those who say that buildings should generate zombies, instead of using up their "zombie supplies". This game follows the traditional zombie movie idea, i.e. humans turn into zombies. Therefore, the number of zombies in a house depends of how many people lived there before the outbreak; there is no logical explanation for zombie spawning. The same, of course, does not hold for the bridges that connect the island(s) to the world.

"...while managing >>multiple resources<< in this hybrid RTS..." (from the instructions) - so there are multiple resources in that game? yes: wood and ammo ... O.o Oookay ^^

On graduation, all you have to do is not hit next. no wave will come, therefore you can spend all the time you want. it makes it so ridulously easy that you can blow up the bridge with one person. also, when I blocked someones path, I love how the people will weave around the zombies while the zombies stand there doing nothing. zombie thoughts" huh...is that a living person?...Nahhhhh imma stand here more. *gasp* a fart! imma go check it out."
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not thta my opinion matters but I think that the Zombies should rot more rampidly after time and bald too because the body is slowly dieing from the plague
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
survivor 1:hurray! we've blown up the bridge! now no one will ever come here again!
survivor 2:i'm hungry...
survivor 1: ... crap...

The pathing is all wrong, my guys spend their time running around back and forth between depots while my sniper is sitting empty with zombies right behind the barricade. Even when I push the ammo to the right depot, it still doesnt go, they just keep running around.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When you abandon an empty depot it should not leave anything behind. It leaves behind either the bullet or boards indicator even through there is nothing there.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Always make sure you've got the minimum supplies set to 0 at all your resource depots that aren't on front lines. That lets you get more bullets, iron, etc. up to your newer structures. If you don't need a depot anymore, even just to transfer supplies, then scrap it and send the resources up. Minimum bullets for each sniper should be 30 so that they don't need refilled, and put 5-10 people in a sniper tower if it's near where the wave will come in.

I would like to see a tower type that will shoot out a cure to convert zombies back into civies. useful when most of your guys have been turned.

'Quebec' was my first edited map tryout and it turned to be rated as one of the hardest, but not that funny, map in the maps database. Even I, was not able to complete it on the first try. To be honest, I never was... lol Anyway, nice game! ^This game does need medals and maybe a multiplayer mode. Keep up the great work, though. ^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ItIsDone : you could set up a new depot, abandon the old one, and salvage it; Just do not forget a sniper tower with eleven civvies, and plenty of lead at the depot.
