I knew the merchant was going to be the boss, I mean what merchant would have shops in the middle of massive 100 floor dungeons with lots of strong monsters inside xD

I'd highly recommend focusing on pure attack. Hidden/ninja's dagger+ a good sword can let you one-shot your way through most of the maps. Stockpile healing potions, and don't be afraid to chug them when you're facing tanky things (turtles, and most of the late game things take 2 hits, so you suffer from attrition). Kill everything you consistently 1-shot for the MP to heal yourself up.
I went from level 39 to the end in one fell swoop using this strategy. It's worth sacrificing even 3-4 points of defense for 1 attack at some points.

This is a pretty cool game with an unique concept. The only thing that bothers me is the inability to play as a female character.

I was doing extremely well, and would have easily been able to go much farther, but my Internet exploded and reloaded the page without my consent. Before I had the chance to save. .-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Sooo...I did not use escape wings since floor 34...and that means everytime I die I'll be spawned at floor 19....and yeah..I reached floor 97...I had 10 of every potion and best items in the game...I felt invincible...and I forgot to check my health points....and yeah...I died at floor 97...killed by a F*****G vampire... ALWAYS CHECK YOUR HP...ALWAYS!!!!

to do the the whole game just stack the attack trait so nothing else matters everything is instakill the only spells you need are health

Okay, so a few suggestions. Sell all button, sell alll but artifacts button, maybe continue the game when using escape wings and let the person decide when to stop playing the game (jsu takes you back to the shop), possibly a save feature.... jsut a few things to consider. was fairly good otherwise - exept a few enemies that weren't able to be gotten to due to chests blocking the way, like floor seven or eight.

@PaterA8 - to use escape wings, drag them from your inventory to on top of your char in the dungeon. you should then see 'Use Escape Wings' pop up.

Keep forgetting to heal myself or escape to safety. Got to floor 87 then died and went back to floor 19. All that hard work for nothing. Now to try it again.

I was never into games like this, but I don't know what sparked my interest in this one. Either way, it was magical, interesting, and overall, an enjoyable game to play indeed. Also, did anyone else notice that the design of some floors looked like numbers?

Wow, how have I never played this game before? Instantly addicted, fun, puzzling almost, for a game that is fairly old this is incredible. Can't wait to beat this one, then try the sequel :)

Amazing game but needs boss levels, more items, more monsters and only being able to see directly around yourself would add a challenge. also more floors, maybe hidden passageways to secret floors, and bigger floors and variety in floor size

definitely an easy-hard badge but such a good game. really great sense of progression and being able to escape with your artifacts keeps it from being frustrating.

I was on my 4th attempt and at that point my max floor was 18. I made it all the way from floor 1 to the 92nd floor and died, Aww man D:

Anyone looking for a challenge? Complete the entire game without ever equipping anything. You can only use potions, magic and crystals
