That whole build up led to a very disappointing final battle. I'm not asking for a whole new mechanic for fighting him, but just make him difficult. The golems were far more of a threat. It's attacks do about twice as much as the boss', and he has nearly twice the armor (Just making up these figures from my fighting because I didn't manage to get all of the eyes).

Enjoyed thoroughly until the first time I used the wings. By returning me to the closest shop instead of the beginning with only my artifacts, I was barely able to get back to where I used the wings before I'd need to use them again. It probably increased the amount I'd need to grind a dozen fold and was enough to make me just quit.

i applaud your great game making especially how you make it so chests and bags of gold dont disappear so you have to fight enemies to get items nearby

I might be doing something wrong. Can anyone explain how the Wings (bra) works? It just jumps out of the game if I use them. I would have thought jumping to a SHOP would have made more sense... Then you continue. Also, although interesting that a save gets deleted after you jump in again, I'd like to see a extra SAVE Artifact! I've tried playing this again, but I die instantly because I don't have my equipment, and start at to high a level. Repetative deaths also kill the enjoyment of playing the game. So I guess I must be doing something wrong. Anyone? I'd like a short explanation of HOW this game SHOULD be played. Examples of when to save and escape is better. Last time Escaped (using the bra/wings) it jumped out of the game.

Too easy. On my third of fourth run, I was able to snowball it to the end, especially since I could sell so much stuff and buy potions, and use healing. Spells other than healing were not worth it. I was expecting it to take little bit more time.

The final boss seemed a bit anticlimactic to me. Just a puny looking skeleton guy who was easily dismantled by a few air strikes. I'm not even sure that I would have needed to heal before fighting him

You should upgrade the elemental defenses on the Titanium Round Helm. I see how it is is supposed to differ from the Titanium Full Helm, but the round helm needs to have stronger elemental defense to be comparable to the full helm. Maybe +15 to all four elements.

Easily one of the best games I've played on Kongregate. I actually finished all in one sitting, which is unusual for me when it comes to Flash games. Great work, Dustin. Can't wait for Enchanted Cave 2.

Either the "Amulet of Riches" or the "Eye of Wealth" seem to be bugged. Enemies will show as having say 14 gold, then when killed give 11 or 12, something other than 14 or 14+1.4.

try to get as many crystals as you can and permanent items.
You need to get the wings too.!
on the last lvl before you go to a new shop lvl, get all chests and use all potions! They disappear if you use the wings. And then use the wings.
Rinse and repeat until no more crystals appear. Then go to the next shop.
This is how you can beat it easily!

I think there should be a confirmation screen to occur when you step on stairs, I accidentally stepped on a stair when was about to open an artifact chest. :'(

Don't bother buy the itunes version. It's an awful adaptation. I bought it because I enjoy this game so much but it has a terrible interface, misses the basic re playability of this version and is inferior in pretty much every way.

the baby dragons and the golems are broken, they are hitting 70-90 and then they will hit about 200 and i'll lose 300hp causing me to die, fix it please.

Aw I am kind of mad because i play since like 3-4 hours and I did not knew that if I die I start from the beginning so I died at floor 57 and when I clicked play.... I started from the floor 1 ! D:
We should start back from the floor 49 no?

This game has always been a favorite of mine. It's really fun to play and grow stronger as you collect more artifacts and items and compare them to your older weapons, because the feeling of getting a better sword from a chest or in the shop is great! I really hope the kickstarter for the sequel takes off.

It's not a bug that's how the game works. You only keep artifacts and stat gems with the escape wings -.-

Is you use wings you loose your items but you keep artifacts and gems(stat boosts). You also keep gold so you can buy better equipment. That's not like "die or try again without anything".

I would like to report the bug of me using the "Angel Wings" and me being teleported back to the Main Menu and losing all of my items. Been doing this since I first used the "Angel Wings" and it is VERY frustrating. Please fix! Please and thank you.

somehow, the greater aqua amulet dominates the artifact finds at later levels. I did not find even one body armor, but i think i have 7 of these amus.

so far, my strategy has been to grind floors 10-28 to get gems then go a bit deeper so i can actually start finding gems again, then to go deeper... eventually I'll make it to the bottom!
