It would be cool if this game (and others like it) had a manual of some sort, something that explains the rules in detail, to save people the time of going to wikis. I love games with complexity, which is why I want to learn about it.

I love this game but wouldn't it be cool to have a system that you could give gold to your party members? Like if you had a wizard that had like 1k gold and a thief that has 3.3k gold and you could give that 1k gold to the thief to buy some higher level items?

It's kind of sad to see all of edgebee's games being pulled from kongregate, they aren't even opening on the main game page aside from their newest game. I use to love Sorcery Quest because it was one of the best dungeon games I could find for free, I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I'll be able to find it somewhere else or if this is it for their games.

@Dreden You do get your gold back, it just gets divided among your team and mixed in with the regular gold drop, so it doesn't seem like it.

If you get a class you don't like, just recycle it. You can then reuse it and choose whichever class. You will also get bonus skill points and attributes based on its level.

This is one of those games in which I'll never understand (unless someone explains it to me) why they don't just take down the servers and leave the single-player aspects alone. This was a great game, and it's sad that it has to go.

Just an idea... would anyone think this would be a good idea? Basically, if Sorcery-quest 2 comes out, it has the same weapons/items/armour as swords and potions 2, so that if you go to the market, you can buy items from vendors who are selling in swords and potions 2, i'd like to think the two games are conjoined. Thumbs up if you agree please so developer can see. Sorry just a thought i had which i thought might seem like a good idea.

Forgive me if im wrong, but there doesn't seem to be a rename option for the characters. Saying how I played this game a very long time ago (about 6 years) and named my characters really dumb names, I'd really appreciate that

Charging me tokens for items in CHESTS!? Items in stores that require tokens I understand, but buying something from an extremely tough monster I just BEAT!? Might as well charge me for turning on my computer, logging on to Kongregate, clicking the link to this game...

I'd have rated this 5/5 rather than 3/5 if it weren't for the fact that you can't use the good equipment, EVEN IF YOU GET IT AS A BATTLE DROP, without spending tokens (i.e. real money). I'd have at least rated it a 4/5 even with that, but you can't even sell that equipment to the shop if you don't pay tokens to unlock, meaning you didn't actually get ANYTHING for the battle drop. LAME! I'll try the game a little while longer to see if it continues to be at least somewhat fun without the gear, but I suspect this will join a long list of games that are okay, but not as good as others I could be spending my time on.

Good game. But it is not a "super ultra duper mega awesome amazing f* master games" that I'm going to pay to play. It is still just a flash game duh!
I mean come on, there are tons of other good games here FOR FREE.

It is really not fair for all the people who want to start with a bard, because all the creatures in the forest are immune to bard attacks. Should make it more effective against them or something.

How can you possibly ignore the fact that you need to pay over 100$ dollars to pay for all exclusive classes and a gold starter pack! This game's developer is the prime example of making a good game just to eat up people's money. I... I... I can't! Wouldn't you, just lower the prices of tokens in Kreds. This next one goes to Kongregate the SITE. LOWER THE PRICES FOR FRIGGIN KREDS.
The reason why people who play this game are on strike against the developers, is because how much money you have to pay for this game to get the exclusive stuff. Compared to Realm of the Mad God, this game is greedy. Yeah, the stuff are pretty expensive on realm. In some purchases, but the gold in realm is mostly used for cloth and appearance items. Also, when you buy gold, you could have already gone monster grinding and filled up your vault with good items and weapons. So, compared to about 90% of games, this game, is by far, has the greediest developers, ever, and most expensive pricing.

Is it just me, or are all of Edgebee's game EXACTLY THE SAME?!?!
Awesome general gameplay, good graphics, keeps you interested for awhile, then BAMM all of a sudden you need 200 tokens to play the game. If you don't have tokens, you're basically playing the crappy demo version that's just a teaser of a real game.

biel, Monsters rarely drop rare loot that is powerful, make sure you have a iron key to open them. Ofcourse the loot might not be powerful at all compared to super strong guys, but it is powerful for low levels. ;)

Is there always high level guys at low level area's just to kill other parties to get "honor" ? Because it seems like it so far, with the level 180 guy's killing players in the sewers. Just seems like some people jsut want to be trolls on this game. But, what game wouldn't be a game without that little annoying troll, right? lol

I think edgebee is a bit money desperate. Swords and potions and Critterforge already require mass spending. Please just make a game where you dont have to spend money all the time. this was the closest but still not quite there yet. You guys make great games and i love them but it is just so expensive to play. 4/5 for gameplay. Just advertise. we can deal with a video mabye every 5 minutes or an ad in between areas.
