The fact you need tokens after 11 or so days to continue [without waiting, anyways] just ruined the entire game for me. It's a shame. Had a TON of potential, and I bet it would've won the monthly or weekly game. Rating it one star.

well a thug came into my shop and said if i dont pay him $2000 he'll mess up my shop. so i leterally told him to come back later about 50 times and he'll leave with that frown on his face until i had about 20k and fianlly gave it to him

I'm not sure why everyone is saying it'd be an amazing game without the tokens. I got bored of it in 3 minutes, regardless of the tokens... I guess I'm just not patient :D

Guys, if you dislike games like this, then *quit spending money on them*. Advertisements pay dickall compared to these kinds of monetizing methods. As long as you keep buying, they'll keep selling. Of course, these games are a sizable portion of Kong's revenue, so...

Plays alone you've made over 3k money, why make us pay more for a game that costs about 1k or less to make, not including servers. Servers could be obtained for 100$. Or, better yet, MAKE your own servers. I know people that make their own servers, run couple of websites, and guess what, besides the .com address, it's free.....

You could have gotten sponsors by the assload if you didnt ruin it like that. I say keep your token system for like top notch premium stuff but dont make me need to use it just to play the game.

Absolute greedy garbage. Was mildly entertained by the game, then found out I had to buy extra tokens if I wanted to play it at any length. You're posting games on kongregate, get your head out of your ass and drop the tokens.

Take out the useless visitors that come in and say something to the effect of "I wanted to ask you something, but I forgot" or "Leave me alone!" they don't add anything to the game at all, just makes it frustrating when customers aren't coming in.

Am I a bad person for hiring someone at the beginning of the day, working them to the bone, and then firing them just before close so I don't have to pay them? At least it saves money when your shop is going down the hole.

Well, nice idea, good setup, but, as mentioned by nearly everyone else here: token system sucks. As well the need to wait have an hour to play again. What for? Normally I'd rate quite high, but rating as is: 2/5, sorry

For a game where so little happens, this is extremely addictive...right up until the point where you buy your first shop upgrade, and learn that, without joining a Guild, you CAN'T USE IT. Hilariously, this potentially dealbreaking bit of information is only presented after you've forked the cash over. I honestly didn't mind the waiting between days, or even how heavily-encouraged literally buying your way to victory is, but this COMPLETELY screws over solo players, turning a deliberately hobbled game that money will unlock into a broken one. It's a shame, because there's real potential here, but the developers' avarice has sunk it. I'd love to play a truly free version without any of the multiplayer features, but accept this is extremely unlikely to happen - unfortunately, that's reflected in my score for the game.
