so... to finish the game you have to help other planets then come to earth and.... destroy it? or was I so fast that I destroyed it?

I really loved this game, short simple but really nice
unlike other of Edmund's games this was relaxing and not rage-inducing!

Guys, Edmund McMillen said on his formspring that he will make another aether, just not any time soon.

"What were you meaning at the end of Aether when you said "to be continued" and showed a new planet (which I assumed was the child's own creation). I don't think that it could have meant a sequel were coming, based on how long it has been."
"it does mean that, ill do another Aether one day, probably not any time soon though"
+ so everyone can see

You should add a lefthanders-version, where you can walk with the arrow keys - I cant use my touchpad with my right hand, so I can't play the game :(

One problem I see is that it's hard to play with a mouse pad. Yeah, with a mouse it's pretty easy, but otherwise almost impossible. I'm not saying that the game is bad by any means, in fact, I do enjoy the game a lot. If this were to fixed or helped in any way, I would give the game a full score, but due to the difficulty, I'll have to go with a 4/5

people keep saying on the green planet "just swing around the moons", well I have done full rotations on each of them for at least 10 rotations and still nothing happens. any advice?

After I watched Indie Game: The Movie, this game hit home way harder. People like you are what reassure me that sticking to your dreams and working hard pays off. Even if it is at the cost of isolation.

I think that "To be continued" doesn't mean there will be second part of a game. I read it as the story of a kid will continue. This kid is the author of game, still creating art and still being a child who lives in its own imagination...

Great game, 5/5 from me. Sounds like its about a mentally ill child, or one with a huge imagination, one of the two...

It seems like the author has left the shores of Kongregate and Armor Games in 2010. I saw a forum entry at September 2008 where he was mentioning that he considers this game as a prototype. I bet this game was not updated since then. I sense some internal value is still inside, but I had no time to figure it out yet. What is clear that the game mechanics allows only a limited amount of interaction, but nevertheless it is nice and smooth.

Truth is (for those who are lonely, I know I am alot). Your not the only one. You think "Oh, everybody else has friends and I have none." Well, that's false. You are not the only one. There are others who are lonely. Believe me... btw 5/5 and faved the game.
