um.... exopod means that its feet are on the outside and tri-achnid doesnt mean three legged, that would be tripedal (or someting like that) arachnid, the whole word, means spider.

Too complicated. I have to move across a landscape that hurts me If I move at a decent speed and I need to hold an egg sac that can only be picked up if I use a claw because using your mouth doesn't work.
