If you are having trouble getting the medium badge just ignore the gems and take the easy route. There is always a nigh gemless easy route. And if you ignore the gems the medium badge is very, very easy

@AnteruenBG You have to exit the tower to submit your score in Arcade mode. In survive mode you can bank your gems (submit your score and trophies) but it will cost you 10% of the gems. And just for remember, to exit/bank your gems you have to enter the doors pressing up in front of them.

Some random tips: Safety First! If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. *** If you spot a tasty new gem room for the first time, let it pass once or twice unless you are sure you know how to navigate it. *** Never bank gems in survival mode. Your trophies and score will not be saved if you bank and then die. It only reduces your score. *** Stay near the top of the screen, unless you suspect enemies are swarming just out of sight. *** When you're about to grab a replacement item, blow your old item just in case. It may save your life. *** Blue bouncy guys are terrible. When you hear that trademark "boing boing" sound, get ready to blow your item as soon as you see the whites of its eyes. *** Diamonds are literally 100 times as many points as greens. Learn the path to grab a diamond and get out in each room type. *** The hourglass is probably the best item; you can even walk along the line-of-death for a second or two and jump out to safety.

Tip: Many white gems are fairly simple to consistently get without items if you know they're coming (i.e. you recognize the floor from its lower part). Especially the ones that show up around floor 15-50. A few are practically suicide to try for, but many aren't.

I almost had 250k in one run and then, out of nowhere, pogo stick hell! They were everywhere! It was one of the scariest experiences I've ever had in a game.

Some pointers: Green gem - 50. blue gem- 500. white gem-5000. item bag: 100. Item bag when you have item already: 1100. So never just use your item when you see another bag. That bonus 1000 is good foe the impossible badge. Also aim for the white gems but don't get too greedy, don't let go of 400k for just 5000. 2 hardest parts are the 4 pogo sticks swarm and the part where there are 3 spike norms that are coming down while there are are white gem areas at the sides and you go up. In these areas you almost NEED a item. The gem collector is the worst item so use it quickly and get something else because past floor 60 you need to survive. Press + to keep alive :)

I like this game over many others because there's not a certain way to do things. You can go as far as you want and achieve whatever you want at any time.

For those who can't seem to get the game to load and it is stuck on a white screen. Right click and click PLAY. It started the game right up.

I got the Impossible badge thanks to some Music that helped me to concentrate and a knowledge of floors that can only come from days of practice.
Here is a guide for the Newbies: If you find yourself stuck on floors that have diamonds on them and you went for them anyway, knowing you wouldn't make it, that's your fault.
Remember this: Never waste your items, i used all 4 items over and over getting the impossible badge, use them to their full capacity if you can. For those 'Pogo Stick Bastards' as BriannRoastBeef calls them, use a handy skull that you got while hoping to get a gem, don't just try and trade it out.
And only go for the Diamonds below L-50 unless you think you can get them or it's too risky.
Mostly it's up to you and your sense of greed.

1. Know each section, how to beat it and diamond/enemy + behaviour/timing/positions of dissolving/blinking blocks. YouTube helped to see what's coming and what is safe to go for.
2. Use items wisely.
SHIELDS AND SKULLS: There were times I would just get an enemy (the ladder ones) even though I knew I can get past them without it. And then I found myself helpless soon after. Nothing beats just knowing how to pass without using items, but I'm not that good.
TIME STOP: for white diamonds or freeze blue platforms to get white diamond AND an item.
GEM MAGNET: when time is against you or with diamonds out of reach/item is in reach, so can get replacement item. just an example.
5. May work. I played a 9min vid. By the end I was at around 300k. I replayed it and that's that.

Badge tips: the impossible badge is essentially a skill wall plus a small amount of luck, especailly when you encounter a spring enemy which flat out sucks. The best thing to do is to just try to memorize the best path for each floor to get the most gems in the safest way, save the attract gem item for areas were there are difficult to get diamonds and don't take any unnecessary risks like trying to get a gem when there is not much tower left to move up. You can get the easy and medium badges easily just trying the impossible badge as well as most of the trophies needed for the hard badge, though you will probably need to grind a bit to finish it off and they don't register at all unless you actually exit the tower.

Oh my... I love this game, how simple the concept is, yet how difficult it'll become because one error may cost you everything. It's the perfect arcade game to see how far you'll get, unsure if you'll exit like a quitter or keep going for a little more cash. Oh, and screw those Pogo Punks. Hate them. Hate them soooooo much. 5/5

@Quizer this game came out 2 years ago, and the developer hasnt done anything in the last year or so (on kongregate at least), theres almost no chance at all he'll fix such a small bug

I've found that the key to getting the Impossible badge on this game isn't l33t platforming skills, it's having the right mindset and decision-making abilities. You have to believe that it's more important to survive than to get all the gems - I'd actually discourage completionism just because it'll get you a little behind on the screen. Always, ALWAYS make survival your first priority. I couldn't get far past floor 50 without this, and with this I got past floor 100 with over 500,000 score.

Theres a lot of floors in this game, but out of all of them, my favorite has to be the one that unleashes 4 of those bouncy guys at once while you're in a tight space full of disintegrating platforms. Yea, love that one...

Till level 0-25, scrounge up any points you can, and it’ll pay later. 25-50 - Don't go wildly climbing stairs, study the rooms, and DON'T venture if you aren't sure you'll get what you want, unless you have the item to help or, you're very good at that specific part/game already, if not, don't dwell, just move forward. 50-100 here’s the tricky part: if you want to have better chances of succeeding, once you grab a shield, KEEP it, really. The Diamonds that'll appear from 50+ will more do so in higher rate and most of them are pretty much easier than the rest, so don't replace your shield for the magnet, or you'll regret it. The last 50k/500k were a fret to get. That's why it's so important to get as many points at the beginning as you can, as the higher levels are too tricky to venture without a shield, as there are always those really tricky sequences that indubitably require an item. If you have to get an item, before getting it, make you use the one you have first. Best of lucks!

You know. I really can't decide who I hate more. The Pogo Punks in this, or the Ninjas in the Cursed Treasure game. Between 3 games, those 2 enemies are all that stands between me, and 120 points They are the ONLY one who ever reach my gems, or knock me off in this. It's so cheap.

Also known as: Self Control, the game; Tower of Greed is a Salmon game. You work hard ALL day to get up the waterfall, but then get screwed and die in the end. This game is not for the uninsured.
