Nevermind about what i said... this took me 4 hours to solve alone, while "I Wanna Be The Guy" Only took 3 and half... 2/5 though -.-

agreed with most of comments, not a bad concept but you got to be spot on with your cuts but i guess that's the challenge. Kind of a game of endurance if you have time.

The game wasn't all bad. I think I it took me more than double the amount of time to finish Elevator than it did any of the other levels though, and I was even looking at walkthroughs to try and help me. Getting that top star is a tad difficult.

I have to agree with a lot of the comments I'm seeing here. The game itself has potential but it relies on awkward angles and the fact that there is no friction to complete several levels. TBTabby said it: the challenge should be in figuring it out, not doing it. And even with that, some of these levels I couldn't figure out without a walkthrough because they were so odd and relied on poor programming (The Last One, Swing, Rocks, The Only One).

I have to agree with others, this game requires to much effort to get the cuts precisely perfect for some of the levels, so only 3/5 Starts. Here's a walkthrough for this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHF6WKd1MyU.

The level "Swing" is all about how fast you make your first cut. Cut a big piece off(going through the rope) as fast as you can, and it should work. Shouldn't even need the second cut.

I don't know what everybody else is talking about. 75 kong points from a single game of the day in less than an hour is nice.

For a physics game, I was very disappointed when I reached lvl 19 "Swing", where you break your own rules. Was a good game to that point, but this level killed it.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Elevator......... 1 of 2 stars.

I thought the game was entertaining, but I agree that there should be more of a challenge in figuring out what to do, than actually doing it. Though, usually I only had to do with a few retries - wasn't like I kept doing the same levels over and over again :s

Fun game. Yes, some of the puzzles presented are very difficult due to its "precise" cuts, but when you actually cut them for the purpose of watching how the physics work you will actually make it much easier for yourself. I strongly suggest players to cut for the purpose of seeing how things work rather than finishing the puzzle. This might open up your thinking a bit since many solutions are not straight forward. Also, since some timed cuts require exact aim, i suggest drawing your cut line early to anticipate your next move. Trust me on this one, cutting without planning is much more challenging than it really should be. Overall, this was a great time waster, too bad its not longer. (insert joke here)

Multiple solutions, my ass. These levels barely even have one. And it seldom works, because you didn't cut the shape as EXACTLY the right angle at EXACTLY the right time, even though it looks exactly the same as it did in the video walkthrough. The difficulty in a puzzle game should come in figuring out what you have to do, not actually doing it. This isn't a challenge. It's just a pain in the wazoo.

Enjoyed the game.
It was neither hard, nor frustrating: fairly easy badge for hard one.
Of course, it has great potential for hard and frustrating level pack, which would require solving exactly, which I would hate.
I did not check "Splitter Pals" yet (achievement: "collect 144 stars"), I hope it's good too.

Seems like 3 slices but it far more annoying.
Also i love when i randomly get several cut levels in one cut because of how broken it can be :)

This game would be a great physics game if the physics weren't all wrong. Some levels the happy face has greater mass than in other levels. And clearly I am not alone in thinking the see-saw level should be just taken out. I had to reset at least 100x to accomplish this level. I made one cut on level 19 that somehow shot the happy face way in the air because the block piece fell through itself like in most levels. Also, sometimes the knife didnt cut at all, leaving the line attached to the end of the knife but not having done anything. There are too many bugs and inconsistencies to have levels that require split second timing, especially when doing the same cut 2x never results in the same outcome.

Everyone vote this UP
I don't expect many to solve The Elevator especially without this. I am definitely of the opinion this IS poorly made now, because this is a ridiculous abuse of physics. You'd have to be as insane as Pinkie to figure this one out!
The wall solution was quite clever though (I did it the hard way and actually knocked it down, rather than throw myself through it)
Also the fact you can't use R to reset totally screws up your cuts. Another point off for this.
And yes 12 is horribly bugged.
I think it's the splitter dude himself who is bugged, his weight is all wrong.

@huner2 I have exactly the same thing and to all others who have the same problem look at Terastas's post and you understand the reason. This problem was very annoying so the game is 3/5 for me.

Can't play - All I get is a white screen with the work "King" enlarged in the bottom right corner. Obviously the screen is zoomed in, but I have no way of zooming out. btw - I'm using Firefox 10.0.1 and my adobe flash is the latest version (I keep it up to date for the games that actually work).

So... there's a big fat button calling for all players to save their moves as a walkthrough, but no walkthrough? Interesting, does this means you keep players contributions for yourself?
