Instructions: If you can’t figure out how to overcome an obstacle, try a different approach (there’s only so many keys to choose from after all)... WTF?! R U serious?! THIS is NOT an option when obstacles are random and you haave to start from scratch over and over. I'd say... 2 of 3 because I like the story approach. Would have liked to know the ending but not with this gameplay!

Well, at least the easy badge is easy - just accumulate 5 kills of farmers over your numerous reincarnations! "Wait, that's not how it happened."

Might I suggest an optional tutorial that shows off the different types of obstacles? "WTF hit me this time" is very annoying after the 20th time.

Here are some tips:
If you're not sure how to dodge arrows, you need to block (S) once the arrows start appearing on screen
You can tell hoplites and farmers apart before they appear on screen: Farmers will yell "Stay away!" "Where are you going?" "You're dead slave!", Hoplites will yell "Honor and Glory!" "See you in hell" "Come on then", although there are probably more.
Hope this helps.

Just a brutal UI/UX. Making it impossible to identify what's happening doesn't make the game just difficult, it makes it poor. Additionally, there's not a game more repetitive than this one. 2/5

There's really no reason to make the last stage so long. There's games that are fun and hard because they challenge you to develop some understanding of the game. Then there are games that are only hard because they require you to do relatively simple tasks over and over for a long period of time, which is really just not fun at all. 2/5

I actually like that the impossible badge is very possible. Its only took me a day to earn it. I congratule you for actually tell what attack is coming to avoid this being unfair.

This game isn't all that hard. It's just aggravating because every time you encounter a new obstacle you have to restart because you don't know how to pass it and thus die on it. Once you know how to deal with each obstacle it's not bad. The most frustrating part is it's not easy to spot what is and isn't an obstacle.

Oh YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH! I do it! I spent a week on impossible badge. Sometimes the Amazon says that we have broken away from the duelist, although arrows are flying at us, she does not tell us about them.

Can we have a progress bar to show how far we are? Like I've died so many times that idk if I was even close to finishing it

Took me three years but I finally got the impossible badge. Not complaining, but it was a little anticlimactic when Hippolyta cleared the very last hurdle and proceeded to get speared by a farmer while the ending voiceover was going on.

first off, if you want to go far in this game, you need the sound effects on. turn the music off in the options. with this, you should have a better chance at recognizing audio cues and reacting well. if only the horse galloping sound was also muted. second, but the graphics should have been more diverse when it comes to scenery and color. with the constant parallax and things you have to keep track of, it wouldnt hurt for the ground and air obstacles to be brighter or stand out more. third, some obstacles come too fast. for example, when you block something late, but successfully, there are some cases where the window to dodge the next obstacle is slim or impossible. fourth, the stuff in the armory does nothing. fifth, the stages should show some time line of how far you got, similar to the one shown in 'jurassic park: the lost world' arcade game. sixth, this game should have some sort of pause button. overall, this game is not good and i give it a 1/5)

Not sure if this is some kind of cheating or not, playing this on my old laptop with other idle games running makes this game a lot slower, and a lot easier. And i wasn't slowing it on purpose, since i do want the login bouns from the idle game. Estimated fps is 8-12, sometimes even slower

Little Timmy - "Grandpa, why is the woman topless in this story? Even the simple t-shirt she ripped off in the beginning of your story would have provided a small amount of protection against tree branches and similar things hitting her bare skin."
Grandpa - "Because Grandpa likes boobies!"

I don't think I've ever felt more anxious than when she said "Faster! We're not going to make this jump!" at the end of level 5. I find it helps a lot to have your right hand on the spacebar instead of trying to do everything with your left hand. And don't be too jumpy- your button-pressing window is pretty large. You generally do have time to check whether the thing yelling at you is a farmer or a hoplite if you slow down as soon as you hear the cue. It also helps to wait until you can see the first few arrows before ducking or blocking, since the audio cue can come at unreliable times. If you can't complete it, it helps to come back another day. You'll perform best when you're calm. The level takes about 3-4 minutes: I started doing better after I started timing myself and got a little over 3:40.

I like to think that while the narrator is telling this story, there's one guy in the audience who keeps interrupting to talk about all the various ways she could have died.

I adore the graphics in this game, but they do have the effect of making the obstacles very difficult to see. My first three tries I died to the first obstacle because I didn't know what to look for. Still, I think it's worth it- I really do feel like Hippolyta.
Still, it's something to consider as I faceplant into an unseen branch for the sixteenth time.

Wonderful game. Unforgiving :) I would pay dearly for ability to disable slowdowns when blocking or killing someone, otherwise amazing game!

Houston, we've found brand new Flappy Bird :J Anyway, this game looks cool, but I don't think, that amazon do need some armor because of it's uselessness; besides, without it she's very sexy :}

A calm mind reaps best results. No need to panic or be impatient. A recommended mindset is to have courage and get ready for upcoming attacks, rather than to wait for that "end line".

Slowing down right after you hear a voice or right before you jump a small obstacle helps alot, you'll notice you suddenly have that right extra amount of time to identify your enemy and/or make your move. (if a duelist is chasing you you can still speed up afterwards, so he wont catch you.)

I don't think people are appreciating this game as much as it deserves. The animation is flawless, and the time put into it shows. Love it.

I feel this would be a few orders of magnitude less frustrating if pressing one command didn't block all other actions. It's just so easy to die because the key you pressed didn't register! Combined with the length of the levels, that makes the game punishing in a bad way. Other than this, it's a nice challenge!

Oh, wait, this game has SOUND? I've pretty much beat the game this entire time with everything muted. . . I feel like I'm pretty good now for some reason. . . XD
