I feel bad for the red nerves. If you're in their position, they're only starting off, and suddenly a huge nerve just runs them over, leaving them to their demise...

Fun gameplay. I agree with the top comments about adding a (small) degree of story/more gameplay depth, as that's likely to better get the educational aspect across. Perhaps replace the wikipedia link at the end with a short and simple summary about the type of nerve you've created and its functions - the wiki articles can be a bit clinical and unwelcoming.

awesome lil game but would be great if there was more to it, some kind of upgrades system maybe? i won't be getting the daily badge tho, bout 10 attempts and i haven't quite got half way so i'll pass, theres no sign it's getting easier so it's beyond my capabilities

Not sure if it's suppose to happen, but one time I took a green and it dead-ended me. And another few times, I'll see the yellow and then it will turn white when I get close, but it will still ding like I got the the yellow, but no more yellow's will show up like normal. These sound like glitches to me, but it's happened to me only a few times so I'm not sure if that's just the way it was built or I'm just messing something up.

this is a great game, it takes strategy, skill, quick reactions, and awesomeness to get to the Sciatic nerve, the longest nerve in the human body.

Wow. This was literally the first badge of the day I earned on Kongregate. It was in middle school, during the computer classes where we didn’t really have to do anything. And now it invites me again to try to get the hard badge…

When anybody else is finished with the game, does their computer screen/desk/everything around them seem to float upwards?

This game needs to be an app. I would download it right away and I'd get myself and all my friends addicted to it. Right now the countless clicking is maddening and annoying. If I could just tap everything would become so much easier and fun! 3/5 for the computer version, 6/5 if it became mobile.

I clicked on the link at the end when it said "You grew a {whatever}" It took me to a Wikipedia article. The first paragraph said:
The pontine nuclei (or griseum pontis) are a part of the pons involved in motor activity. Corticopontine fibres carry information from the primary motor cortex to the ipsilateral pontine nucleus in the ventral pons, and the pontocerebellar projection then carries that information to the contralateral cerebellum via the middle cerebellar peduncle.
...That's great. Good to know this kind of learning is accessible for everyone.

Music, graphics, and education? Why can't they show us things like this game in school? It would make life so much more exciting!

What I really like about the menus is you can make music by moving your mouse back and forth over the buttons. It sounds really cool.

I got just under 90,000 microns, got the hard badge and felt really awesome. The game told me I'd grown a granule cell so I clicked on the link to find out what that is. "Granule cells are the smallest cells found in the brain and are an extremely small type of neuron." Gee, thanks. Now I don't feel awesome at all.
