Past the first 1 minute prices rose to 50 each then over the next 3 minutes decided to rise and stay over 100 each...
As you could probably tell my play time was short lived!
Please fix the problemwith prices :(

Need a way to slow everything down, ability to sell extra ships before you lose from lack of funds, able to buy more than 30 at a time. Idiotic that you get nothing for selling the tea.

Based on my samples, it is better to ship tea on time than let happiness drop in order to get more time for sell opium. More happiness in Britain means bigger tea orders, and the tea shipped appears to garner more points than opium sold.

Still haven't won, but lost with 110 million points. But didn't get the badge for some reason. The secret is to sell, sell, sell. That's it. Take risks, buy high, sell high, doesn't matter, as long as you keep selling you'll hit the 80 million.

Wow. I'm doing super awesome. I've got loads of opium and I'm ready for my tea order ahead of schedule... Whats that?! A deal for 57 chests of opium for 99 pounds each?! It might be risky, but I've got a bribe card. Lets go for it!(Sails boat over)...(2 seconds before reaching the deal) "Chinese are doing bad things to you. Give us your bribe card!" (Boat reaches the offer) "Forfeit your boat cause you suck!" Now out of opium and money.... At least I can make my tea shipment on time... "The queen is evil, we want more tea than you actually have!" "Whats that? You have no money, no opium, and not enough tea? Sell your boats for cash."...."Did you want to buy some opium with that cash? Sorry, the prices just rose astronomically"

Okay, This is a nice concept, Except for one massive flaw.
The trading company WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID FOR THE GODDAMN TEA.
I should have made a LOT of money through the game, had my tea not been given away. ¬¬ 2/5 because, hell, THAT'S A MASSIVE FLAW.

how is score calculated? I played 3 times, all wins, 1 with a lot of money left 49m points, 1 with 0 money left, 77m points, the other time i didnt remember but was a realy low score..... is best to ship tea quick? best to do better deals? best to what? ....

Hard Badge Guide:
Never sit on your money, and always sell even if it's low profit (except at the beginning when you don't have enough boats). Take advantage of low prices, but never spam the buy 30 unless the market just crashed. A good tactic is constantly buying opium then tea (especially later on), because when you toggle buying between them, I found my market rarely soaring for them that way with prices getting out of control. I had almost 300 tea before the second shipment, once I got two boats. You just have to constantly buy tea to win. And as long as you wait a second or two to click the buy 30 again, the market won't crash.

crates opium SOLD * crates tea delivered * years of play. In other words, score really depends on how long you last and how much opium you sell.

win is easy - just buy from start opium when price is lower than 50 and sell always if price is higher than 50. Often there is plenty amount of contracts for opium with 55-65 price and opium for almost all long game is sold for 45-50 (something for a little while is 80 so dont buy then ofcz).
And very quickly u will get another ships then game is funny - just try dont stop clicking and u will have 80 milion points almost always (I get my hard badge on second try)

@JoelCooke The first time I played the requirement was 720 then subsequently it remained at 660. Not sure why though.

Some people are suggesting that the last shipment of tea to England is 720 crates. Even when I "beat" the game my highest is only ever 520. This is the case in both firefox and IE. Is anyone else having this problem, or do I just have the wrong end of the stick?

While india could supply britain with tea,It couldnt do it on its own. china is a much larger and therefore produces MUCH more tea.

I couldn't buy enough tea for Britain... why? I could only buy 30 crates at a time, which wasn't enough to keep up with making a profit, waiting for the prices to fluctuate in my favor, buying opium, etc. 5 and 15 seem useless, I'd rather have 25, 50, and 100 crate options.

company doesnt gave its profit for free. uk gave license to trade at east asia with the name of county and demand some needs. those times world was not global and safe. you need really good *ss to trade that far so uk is partner with its navy which guarantees clear trade routes.
