i glitched on the first fight, it says i should be in Action Phase...so why am i in Move Phase still? x_x please comment on what i should do because i'm lost

I use chrome, and I can't move. I can see my statistics, the items screen, perks, and characters, but I cannot click on the statue, or move in any way at all.

Could be:
- easy: equip 1 perk on each character
- medium: finish the game
- medium: get the Death tarot
- hard: defeat the master of tales

i would like to have a way to gain exp with random encounters or something because honestly i have problems beating some of the game battles and grinding would help me with that.
even though players looking for a challenge could still skip these battles.
maybe add it if there is a sequel?

Like everyone said. A sequel to the Game and Story. Played the Wings of Genesis. Great game, but I would love to see what's after the end of this game. XDDD

Beautiful and relaxing art and music. This game has a unique feel to it that few other games have. A good story, and a quirky sense of humour. All in all, it's a masterpiece.

Man when I first found this game a few years ago I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I still think it's a pretty amazing game, but I was surprised it's not up in the top 100 games even as well. I think the main reason would be because the game is not *easy* for people who have never played a real RPG before.
I mean, it's not like it's hard to learn, it's that people expect to be able to bulldoze through a game with little to no effort. I think the first time around I might have taken a peek at the guide to figure out how to beat the gigantic 1 shot yeti, but a few years later, wow it's not even hard for me. It appeals to the audience that can really enjoy a game that doesn't go with the mainstream "bulldoze through everything and win" style, but the non-hardcore gamers won't appreciate it as much.

a truly wonderful game! The story is mysterious and intriguing while each of the characters is interesting. A liitle more backstory to be shown in the game would be wonderful. I can't wait for the 2nd part ^.^

If you hover the "Tactical View" button during enemy's turn and after you invoke a tarot, the sprites become enormous! :O

Is "Ge.ne.sis 2: Into The Rabbit Hole" ever going to come out? I've been anticipating its release for quite a while now, and it's still not here.

My only complaint is that while the idea behind the story is good, some of the execution was off, for example the opening cutscene or how characters react to events that happened in battles during out of battle conversations. The battles could use a little tweaking to catch people's interest or help then through at the start of the game, perhaps by adding a slight addition of luck or random generation. Otherwise, each feature feels like it helps the game in some way and nothing is there just for dead weight, and I can give the game a solid 4.5/5, sadly however Kongregate does not let me rate that score so I gave it a 5/5 so push the rating closer to what I think it should be. Ah well.

What I don't understand is why even bother putting in the game those skills where you have to be level 20 or so, when there's no way for us to gain any more levels later in the game? Seems pretty pointless if you ask me.

this games great, problem is it has NO learning curve, at least for me... i'm not complaining at the first half, but the first half felt like a puzzle based RPG, and the second felt like a normal RPG, except for the occasional boss... on the other hand, i'm afraid to turn insane mode on, so maybe i just used the guide too much

Lol, i am so hooked on this game, i did not even realize that you can switch to easy/normal/insane mode- and i am on normal! XD Normal mode alone is challenging enough- so i do not even want to imagine playing on insane mode!
