You're always saying that the best is Gelyan on Phoenix, I personally played this combination and I prefer Sisily, always Sisily with her powerful attacks, riding any of tier 5 beasts (not Beelzebub), especially Nidhogg or Tiamat. These are very powerful combinations, I'm playing now Lucid dream, Sisily on Tiamat with one Gaias Vest and one Dragons Heart, lvl 18, power 20, endurance 20, agility 14, empathy 20, planning to upgrade agility and I don't use any usables. I think that those combinations are better than Gely/Phoenix combination, because of power of Sisi's Flame Orb and because Nidhogg's and Tiamat's breaths are more powerful than Phoenix's. Try playing Sisily and tell me what you think. PS. I evolved my beast this way, which I think is the best, Salamander -> Cyclops -> Gargoyle -> Zuu -> Tiamat or Gargoyle -> Hydra -> Nidhogg PS2. Dude, I didn't realize till I already completed normal mode and was part through Nightmare that there are higher grade healing items. You can also equip 2 of the same equipment. But your dodge rate will not go above 85. Oh, and increased stats from items count towards your limit. So remove the equipment first If you want higher then max stats.

Nice game man! Every time i click on this game i end up noticing that its like 3am after like 7hours of this game! It's a good thing too :D. Found out some interesting ways to not die (ever) in this game after the first 15 hours... pretty usefull :). My main guy was geylan with nidhogg with dragon heart and mirror boots....9k damage with eclipse, nearly untouchable with maxed out movability, 40% increased defense with perk, and every time i'm hit i get energy :DDDD!!!!! Anyway just fiddle around and you'll get better than what i found.... thanks fairypoet!

I'm not saying it's bad game but... Author should have stayed whith the Rpg-like battle game like the first genesis. It was much better than this one.

Don't know why many people are upset of level cap, I enjoy the game as it is now. Defeating twice Zodiac Memory got 100% resists on Nightmare difficulty, and nearly maxed out 2 stats, while with full agility. Even with max agility the dodge rate is not 100%, so there is a chance of you getting hit, but if change the level cap at least some levels higher you will get nearly/fully invincible to damage, because of higher than high dodge. It would get really boring fast. So, please, don't blame about changing the level cap, because the game is wonderful as it is now, but will get ruined if level cap gets changed.

if u have tiamat and u go close to a boss and right before tiamat uses his breath attack press pause and tiamats breath will keep killing the boss must have at least 20 empathy

hey i know this is a long shot, but could you add in a level progress bar? really is an incentive to know how far you are from the end :) = if you agree :)

It may be just me, but it feels like the combat is really fast-paced and makes it a little difficult to learn basic concepts early.

A truly fun game: very enjoyable, fun as a shooter, with colorful characters and a great upgrade system! A wonderful entry in the genre!

I just started playing this game and OH MY GOD IS IT SO AWESOME....the first five mins...omg...its just...one of those games that I LOVE...I have been looking for a game like this...Omfg and with dragons pure epic...I love dragons...I will probably love this game forever...hope there is more!!!! :)

Whoa! I defeated Zodiac Memory on Lucid Dream without using any usable item! ( I played Gelyan on Phoenix, using two Gaia's Vests, and whith power 11, endurance 35, agility 7 and empathy 32). Congratulations to those, who done this in Nightmare mode. And congrats for you, Fairypoet, because this game is really great!

The strategy guide was a nice touch, but sadly lacking. I wish we could hover over the evolution tree and at least see what types of attacks the beasts have. I can't decide how to level up my Unicorn...

name sounds epic but no game really on Kong is epic, you must go to a good mmo gaming site for that but still kind of fun.

this game is awesome, but it's lacking one thing that I think would make it complete. The characters should be able to learn new attacks, because there is almost no customization in that area. Just an idea. :)

Considering that Gen can heal himself by an absurd amount and change my beast to a tier 1 many times over and over again, I don't quite see how this game is possible. Brute force damage gets me nowhere, and the only status effect I can inflict is poison. Not to mention Zodiac's uncanny ability to set my health to one, and then flood the screen with damage. Great game, very good art, but the final boss mechanics are disappointing. 3/5
