This build is ridiculously overpowered...
Max out empathy and put the rest in endurance. equip 2 crystal armguards and use nidhogg. Then just sit inside enemies bosses. This build literally owns everything that it isnt even funny anymore. The only boss that I had problems with was libra because she could cancel my solar eclipse
I used gelyan with these stats 8 power, 22 end, 4 agi, 29 emp (i had 11 free unused stat points) on nightmare and had 3 solar eclipses activated on infinity space. It made that level so ridiculously easy to beat. Zodiac memory at most used like 5 attacks on me. I keep freezing him, regaining all my hp/mp and draining his hp with 3 solar eclipses

Is it just me, or are my points that I add to empathy getting wasted? I'm not seeing any sort of rise in energy recovery...

Awesome game, question though is it possible for you to put a link to someplace so I can download the music from this game, it's quite nice and i'd like to listen to it without the game running in the background.

Zociac Memory is a reaaaaalllllyyy stupid boss. HP goes to 1 or 0 randomly. You never know if you're going to die, even like in my case, that I use my dragon special attack (number 2), I should be invincible.... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Not fair at all!!!!

EASYest way to beat zodiac guy - be sisi, get tiamat (2 white 3 black) max out endur. and 65+ morale plus a gaia vest and dragon heart, then load up on a couple life streams (as many as possible), then after letting the first boss hit you a couple times (keep auto on) use your breath to 1 hit KO (make sure both boss's are above water), then keep 1-2 shotting the boss's (le0 is 2 hit KO) then when you get to the zodiac just keep the life streams up when u get the 1 hp and whenever you have 80%+ health use your breath (feel free to take the weaker hits so your breath is stronger) and you win after 4-6 hits!!! (their is a bit of luck involved in getting the curse, i went 1 match using up all 4 life streams in like 30 sec. but next match never got hit once with it)

Out of all the characters, Gelyan is by far the best. His Judgement Bolt is an excellent weapon for taking out those mobs, and his Toxic Bolt is useful for early-on bosses. It also pierces. I suggest you use Ladon with him, because you want to stay at the edge of the screen, so Ladon's ability should help you collect those gems (applies to all beasts with the same skill). And also, the fact that he gets an extra skill point allows you to put more points into your skills, making your attacks even stronger.

How about a hint as to the Gold Medal criteria? I've tried taking no damage, killing as many enemies as possible, and various combinations of the two, and it still seems like a mystery as to why I get silvers instead of golds.

Sisily: evenly level Power, Agility, and Empathy. equip Dragon Heart and Grim Reaper. mount the Behemoth. it's overpowered

I know there are probably all manner of cheap combinations, but this one is mine: Sisily + decent Agility (for quick shooting) + Behemoth (for random status effects) + 2 Deep Blue (for chance of freezing). Basically you stun-lock everything, and if they ever escape, use Behemoth's breath to go invulnerable and hit them with a chunk of damage while you find a place to escape the attack. Then you just go back to your normal attack. Also, I think it probably doesn't matter which character you use, but I didn't try the others, so. Yeah.

5/5 awesome game, great mix of rpg and slider. One request, with such an awesomely unsuspected ending, take care to really think about the sequel so it brings out the best of the genesis series in an awesome finale. :)

wtf. Zodiac Memory is just way too hard. it gets to be nonsense. I played throughout the whole game expecting this damn hard badge, but you made this beast just impossible to beat. I have 1 HP and its attacks are completely random. how am I to dodge them all? it's more like luck than actual skills. I mean, sometimes I'm not aware of what exactly kille me. In a moment I have 1 HP and in the other one i died. wtf. really. 1/5 just because of this boss.

The rank 5 beast Nighogg is Extremely good for boss battles just use his skill solar eclipse and attack, gives you full health, amazing damage to enemy but you must have high morale because it goes untill energy runs out

I really enjoyed the game, but I have one huge problem. The evolution chart tells you what they are, but not what their abilities are. What's the point of being able to choose the path you take and not being able to know exactly what you're investing in because, like many others have pointed out, once you evolve, there's no going back.

i beat the zodiac memory with sisily lv 18 all you need is nidhog and a arcane earing along with that highest version of poisen ammy (and pots if a nervous nilly) sit INSIDE the zodiac memory when he makes u have 1 hp YOU CANT DIE BECAUSE OF NIDHOGG'S SPECIAL :D hope this helps (PS sisily is easiest to use 5/5 for game although make level up to 50 for MAXIMUM FUN :D)

@stormseeker, you can use a lower level monster by clicking on it... you can't upgrade your behemoth into something else, instead, however. (I'd suggest doing this as Neraine going a full cold/dark build... the third monster is terrible, and the second isn't exceptionally cool.)

Great. So ... I get to almost the end of the game, and find out its now impossible to win because of a random decision I made 20 minutes ago about which gems to feed. You HAVE to tell the player the evolution charts in advance for a game like this!

Not a bad game, but far worse then Ge.ne.sis. I was hoping that this would follow the turn-based tactical layout, but it ended up being a side-scroll shooter. 3/5.

best way to beat infinite space: get beezlebub, for the first two bosses, use auto and just try to survive. then on the third one, cast all 3 swarm nests and get real close to the bosses. u should have 3 life seed things that cast 15 secs of invincibility, the 4th a health restorative. when u get to the last boss, cast invincibilty and all 3 swarms and doges and attack like crazy!

ok maybe you could make it so that ur fully healed when facing zodiac memory instead of health reduced to 1? im stuck with full game beaten but i cant beat aodiac memory.

Defeated Zodiac Memory at lvl 19 with Neraine + Beelzebub 85% dodge + Grim Reaper + Berserker Soul.. walk in the park with that build :)

If you're having problems with beating zodiac memory make sure you have protection from poison. Either you need a lot of endurance or the grim reaper item. Next it helps have that items or moves that make you invincible for some seconds (behemoth). The 1 health spell zodiac casts stays on your char for like 10-15 seconds and you can't heal. After the spell wears off you can heal yourself. There are several ways to kill zodiac. One way is to constantly freeze him. Another is to use tiamat and a character with maxed endurance. Another is to just blast away with behemoth.

For the miscellaneous category of items, there should definitely be a sell button on option available. And then inflate everything else to cover the balance.
