Update: did get through 4-3 eventually - I didn't start counting tries until after a lot of messing about with it, but I DID count no less than 21 attempts after I started counting them. So, yeah that many plus fark knows how many more. Yeah, it CAN eventually be gotten through I guess, but once again it's just about the dumb luck factors coalescing, and a LOT of them have to coalesce, to the point it's gonna take unholy forever unless you crap 4 leaf clovers and piss rainbows. Yeah, seriously, not playtested that level... can't have been - godawful.

Items are soooooo rare to drop too... At least give us some some cheap junk for each level played, just for fun/income of selling it and as an incentive to play levels a hundred time before you can upgrade your very expensive troops !!

I don't know what the point of ghosts is apart from maybe telling you "well what did you think, life sucks and let's keep it real there's no reason why a game wouldn't too".
I get this annoying feeling with a lot of games actually. Like we gamers are soooooooo miserable and masochistic and well, all that, you know... We like random crap being thrown at us like AAAAAAAALL the time...

Don't bother if you want to take it very far, seriously. Level 4-3 is nothing but an f-ed up grindfest that at the BEST you can MAYBE eventually get through with dumb f-ing luck. Seriously. It's a nom-nom level, and you just don't get sufficient forces and spells to get through the damn thing. Dunno HOW many times I've tried it, and since it's a nom level it's completely random what you get along with support spells you can't use half the time due to range limitations till it's too late. Poor, poor balance here - desperately horribly poor especially considering the rest of the game. It was doing quite well, till I hit that. I know some games like hell levels, but this one is just flat out poorly designed stupid, period. Specially with the current upgrade prices on units, to even try to upgrade the ones you get to help with it much would probably take replaying it about 500 times. I wish I were exaggerating here.

Paladog should have just a basic melee attack because its annoying when you have to wait for your skill to recharge. press + so the Maker can see it

The game gets really grindy long before you reach halfway. The strategy is to summon 2 rats, shoot poison, summon two more rats, shoot punch, charge the enemy gate while alternating poison and punch, and hold position with tanks and holding / clearing mass mobs with meteor. At least the bosses mix things up sometimes and have guaranteed great loot with luck rings equipped.

@Ackerion: try playing on "Hell"/ Here you will have to upgrade and use multiple units to be able to finish certain missions.

I love this game and think its almost perfect, but I have just one thing I think you could fix - even though I admit you're probably long past maintaining this game.
The whole upgrade system for units is flawed, because there's absolutely no incentive to upgrade any unit except for the final ones you intend to use. It's always a heap more efficient to simply hold out to get the next unit. I found this both on here, and on the app version. A fix would be allowing people to refund upgrades - this would mean we could still upgrade, but when we had enough refund it to buy the next character.
Otherwise I simply just don't upgrade anyone but the dragon, penguin and rhino... (and rarely sometimes also the monkey cause hes awesome)

"Different from human race, the critters were pure and peace loving creatures, and spent a millennium in peace." Peaceful, eh? Then why do shopkeepers have giant piles of weapons to sell? you'd think a thousand years of peace would have the extremely peaceful animals stop manufacturing weapons like their lives depended on it.
