This seems more or less a carbon copy of "Tiny wings" the popular Iphone game. But as far as i am aware this is the 1st flash game attempt at it. I like it

i think if you pick the turtle: he has less damage,
rollypoley: rolls faster,
squrll: can be in air for a few more seconds,
piguin: gets happyness faster

You know, if you pitched this to Sega as a Sonic title for the younger gamers, you'd probably stand to make a bit of money out of it.

Using the 'R' reset key seems to glitch the game out pretty bad. Sometimes it skips zone 1 entirely, and eventually half the background disappears. ???

i have gotten to Zone 5 twice, and even Cleared it making it to Zone 6 yet i still dont have the badge for reaching Zone 5
Yeah, the hit detection is a little wonky at low speeds. We've improved it a lot for the sequel. It's weird when you fall gently on the ground and still take damage. :P
I have found the bug that was causing data to be lost. You can recover your old upgrades and crystals with these instructions: http://fexlabs.com/DH1/DH1upgrades.html This is our fault, and we're very sorry we didn't catch the bug sooner. It won't happen again!

is anyone else getting a glitch in zone four that causes the animal to fly uncontrollably at max speed above the screen for half of the zone?
Very strange, I'll look into it. The sequel is using a much, much better engine that's a lot faster, smoother, prettier, and less buggy all around. I'll do my best to smash all the bugs. :D

Game's a bit glitchy, one time I restarted and still had my original amount of gems... Then the lower half of the screen had no scenery.
Thanks for the notice, I'll be sure to look into it. The sequel is using a much, much better engine that's a lot faster, smoother, prettier, and less buggy all around. I'll do my best to smash all the bugs. :D
