Found a glitch where, as long as you have a jump lined up (if you are just about to land on a slope) right click inside the game window, wait 2-3 seconds, left click in the game window and your Dillo will be launched super high and fast and will often clear the entire zone.

I wouldnt be surprised if I came to this site one day and found out that an animal rights protest group (Animals against air) was protesting the use of our catapults and cannons

It says in the description, under the updates, that this game was inspired by Wavespark which Tiny Wings copied. Everyone stop saying 'Rip off of tiny wings' and things like that, the developer already acknowledged this right where we can all see it. Good game. :D

We have a lot of ideas for new things that we would have liked to do with this game, but we ended up in a bit of a time crunch. Most of those features will end up in a sequel, and we'll be sure to pay attention to everyone's feedback and ideas! :D

you might to improve the game to a 10/5 add specials to the different types of animals, for example the puinguin goes faster when he is wet but then takes more dmg from a thundercloud

@tmdude9586 I hate it when people say these games are "ripoffs". If that's the case, then isn't Battlefield a ripoff of CoD? Isn't Tekken a ripoff of Street Fighter? No, they're just from the same genre.
Minecraft : Infiniminer, Diddy Kong Racing : Mario Kart, Angry Birds : Crush the Castle, Tiny Wings : Wavespark.
I know Dillo Hills is very similar to Tiny Wings and Wavespark, but I like to think we add our own flavor to it. ESPECIALLY with the sequel.

I got the medium and wasy badge in my first try in 10 minutes. Then i wasted half a day getting all the upgrades and still is fricking impossible to get to 400000

The developer is currently being sued by a patent troll company called Lodsys LLC (who have also been suing game developers making games for iOS and Android devices) Hopefully you'll get legal help, as far as I know Google has been helping Android game developers who were sued by them.

I love all the launch games: The turtle, the penguin, the paper airplane, the hedgehog, and the others. This is a great twist on a fun genre.

Is there some reason to buy the hats, other than to meet the requirements for more hats? Is the turtle better at something?
In this game, the characters all have identical physics and the hats are just for show. In the sequel, each character has different starting stats and hats can give stat boosts.

well here's what i have to say "dillo hills 2 was a great game, but all great games come to an end by ether outclassing, or getting forgotten, or it just being lost to time all im saying is R.I.P. dillo hills 2 you will be missed" (Just look at my profile pic, It was from that game)

The music in this game is wonderful. It conveys a real sense of adventure, it's something I think you'd hear in a movie rather than some Kongregate game. :)

Finally. To get 400K, you have to have everything fully upgraded and pretty much do completely perfect up until zone 10. You can make a couple mistakes...but basically..there's no room for error. If you can manage it, you'll reach 400,000 near the start of 10.

It's pretty surprising that someone actually reads their comments and cares about what they have to say. Most game developers on this site don't even bother looking.
For sure. I'm sure for a lot of developers, there's just too many people commenting to manage it all. I probably waste a little too much time reading comments, but it's fun. :D

By end of lvl 1, had 33-35k (get 5x multiplier asap). By end of 6, 245k-250k. By end of 7, 299k. By end of 8, 335k-350k. By end of 9, 380k-385k. Finished @ 411k. I did not maintain 5x the entire time (even went as low as 2x once)==== If @ 4x or lower, doing a dive or hitting bird sooner and with more impact will give you faster happiness boost and distance than continuing to glide/slow descent. In other words, the earlier you BEGIN your dive the bigger/faster/sooner your critter will hit the hill/bird for happiness boost, and … the more ground they will cover faster. Then you are more on a roll and can adjust your control with the momentum you gain. For example, you can start to wait until you're closer/poised for the hill/target you want and then dive. But making these big dives can make a big difference in the later levels, particularly the last 2.
Last tip is don't overuse glide. Just tap it a little bit for adjusting. Best to go for the hill in your trajectory or the easiest.

Great game overall, only took 2 attempts to get the easy and medium badges, but that 400k points one needs to be upped to "impossible." Game is brutal even when your player walks on a hill, slides down for speed, and bumps on the next hill for loss of health. Also not to mention the increasing obstacles along the way.

i just noticed the squirrel is from fly squirrel fly 1 & 2 the turtle is from toss the turtle and the penguin is of course from learn to fly 1 & 2 :D

It will not play, but that could just be a computer error, and it isnt a rip off, itsa a genre. if no games were similar than you would have maybe 4 video games in existance.

How to make shitloads of stars? Just play in the ZEN Mode, the collected stars can be spend in the shop and the upgrades stay with you ... and BOOM goes the DILLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Plus to keep it alive.
