I am super stoked you created a Flash version of Populous! It was a classic from when only gamers played video games! I was going to point out that you neglected to include sheep and that great campaign world map but then I remembered that it was PowerMonger. Still, superb recreation! Five Stars!

SirFievel33 - what happens is the people merge if they're in the same square with a stronger ally... the strong guy gets stronger (it stops the population exploding but keeps your strength). The longer you take to defeat the enemy, the more likely he'll get a really strong follower. Take them out by making a really strong leader and letting them maul each other! (See the tactics guide for more tips).

I always compare this game with Populous 2. This game could really improve with more spells. Earthquake was one of my favourites. Also you might add some random occuring creatures, monsters or gods to make it a little less repetitive, like in Populous 2. More achievements would be nice too. The rest is perfect in the game. 5/5

Lord help you if you try to fix the damage the computer does while you're in its frame of view, since it'll just redo the damage just as you try to fix it, and at this point you're basically playing "keep the sand castle up underwater".

I think it'd be cool if there were additional tribes on the map ... allies, neutrals, and enemies, with the ability to switch diplomatic stance. 3- or 4-way battle royals would be awesome.

If you ace any level from 15-20 on easy, it immediately bumps you into "normal," with no way to go back to the easy levels and try again for the accomplishments.
This is not a good feature.

a bit to hard to flatten the land, when i want it flat it does the oppasite, when i want it hilly its flat. i think it should be a little easier t omake it flat.

Good game. However it gets annoying when the sea level is raised and the AI is able to raise a quarter of the map almost instantly, while you can hartly save one or two of your drowning villagers. This means defeat if your main army is a converted leader who cant build houses and is soon overwhelmed by the AI.

great game! A bit lop-sided after a time. You should add a few ingame achievements and a few mission-specific objectives. A mini-map and a button for game-speed-controlling would be nice! Nevertheless: (5/5)

possible to make hotkeys for spells... really dont like having to keep going down and clicking thunderstaff to deal with their buildings.

Also, the lightning spear spell can simultaneously turf a building and then deep fry the owner as soon as it emerges, as long as the computer doesn't use its psychic abilities to instantaneously remove the terrain damage as soon as it happens.

One of the things that would, in my opinion, make this game 10x better is a raise to level button. Rather than clicking and hoping that the game correctly interprets where you want the land to be you just tell it where you want any click you make to take the land. Other than that combat seems to take a long time and perhaps building stuff should take longer than instantly.

At first, the game seems really fun. But after 5 or 6 levels it just gets repetitive. Your just lowering/raising land, until you either greatly outnumber your opponent and then you use Armageddon, or you start attacking him and slowly take over his buildings.
It'd be better if you could have more control over your units, if you had multiple enemies, and multiplayer could be interesting

I loved Popolous on my Amiga. An I love this conversion. By the way you can use shift and crtl to raise/lower the landscape. 5/5
