Though I have fixed it before you comment came into existence. Many people got the badge after that update. Now I have re-updated the version with one more early call for badge. If you still did not get the badge, please re-open the game and try to load it, you will get it immediately. If there is still an issue, I am sorry to say that you need to replay the campaign (May be because your game save file is not at proper place).

I arrived at the "Congratulations. You have beaten the campaign." screen but did not get my badge. I reloaded the page, loaded the save file and got the screen again, but again, no badge.
Otherwise, this game is a lot of fun and well made.

The fact that you can't really build a deck for the "Hard"-Achievement makes it really annoying. How am i supposed to summon 3 dragons in a single game when I have to restart the duel ten times until I even have the card? It takes forever and there is no skill or strategy involved. For every of the 15 Achievements you should have the oppurtunity to choose your own deck!

5/5 game, but I think there should be a short cut key for skipping a turn, you have to do it so much you shoudnt have to be asked if you're sure about skipping a turn

Amazingly great game. Two suggestions: (1) Have an option to speed up animations. (2) Make all achievements visible on one page (no scrolling).

I bought this game long before it was a Flash title and it continues to improve. The implementation of in-game achievements (and Kong hard badge) for the archmage duels is slick. More Steam-esque, less bleh normal Kong badge. Well done all 'round.

I love the art in this. I also love the way different opponents have different effects on gameplay, especially in league of heroes games. This keeps things interesting. It would be a great game just with the art and the gameplay, but the bits of humor that come through make it fantastic (crazy squirrel makes me laugh every time I see it).
I think the campaign mode would feel more meaningful if a player had to build their deck in campaign mode before using it in league of heroes or single-player duels. I mean, I'd keep the full decks in one of them, but I'd change either league or the duels so the control deck was dependent on what the player had obtained in campaigns. That way, there's greater motivation to replay the campaign as different classes.

Found another bug:
To defeat Ashe in the campaign, the alternate win condition is to summon one creature of each element. Whenever I fight him, I summon one creature on my first turn and it gives me the victory. Happened 3 times so far, I did it as a Cleric, Machinist, and Dominator. Each time, I summoned, as my first turn, a creature from my specialist domain and instantly won.

excellent game - looking for advice on beastmaster vs lord of air in campaign very hard -- impossible to make constructive criticism here, ive seen more under the thresholds than any other game - very suspicious - bump this note to keep freedom of speech alive !! lol

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but it is possible to play with a customised deck in Archmage duels - that go towards the achievements? I always end up with a random deck and I can't win! :[ *Still love the game though, I feel I NEED to get all of the badges for this :P
Go to the custom deck menu, just make your custom deck.
now in the custom deck, there is a list of opponents, select archmage from the list.
you will be able to play using your own deck against archmage.
for the arch duels custom deck is work-in-progress. Which will give you direct access to custom deck, before starting the duel.

Also, in the "how to play"-section the description says your goal is to get your's opponent health down to 0 from 60. Not all opponents have 60 health though, like Helga, with her 150 HP.

I have had one problem with the game so far, when playing against Ratlin on normal difficulty.
The game starts with a card called: Merfol Revolutionary. It switches to the side of the caster with the least hp. Point is that he switches as soon as the other player gets lower health. However, when he switches i find that after the switch, not all my monsters attack, even though they have not attacked yet that turn.
I would appreciate if this is voted up, so the developer can see :)

I purchased a copy of Spectromancer about a year ago and enjoyed it thoroughly.
I was then and continue to be a supporter of this developer and this game.

I own the original game, and it is epic! (Granted it's on my other worn-out laptop, but still) Can't wait for the full Kong version.

I noticed that you can only get one achievement at a time.
For example, if you complete the campaign in hard mode with a class you never used before, you'll get only one.
Same goes with the"element supression" badges : i used only spells and creatures of my speciality and got only one.

Hard badge made easy: 1. Play as Necromancer against Mad Hermit. 2. Restart until you have the following 3 cards: Drain Souls(Death), Phoenix(Air) & Mervolk Elder(Water) 3. Play Mervolk Elder 2 times in a row(If you are lucky, it will wind up fighting magic rabbit) 4. save up Air and use Phoenix to counter strong units. 5. Keep Fire above 10 at all times! 6. Use Drain Souls when in trouble(Kills all units [Your Phoenix's will survive] and gives you some life) 7. Once you have 6 Phoenixes out, go achievement hunting(accumulate 12 death, play 5 lightning bolts, play 4 stone rains, wipe out 30 units, overun with 6 units while he has 0, alternatively play without any earth or fire cards at all, or sacrifice a phoenix and play an element with 30power[You need 40 of that element] or heal yourself to 150) 8. Enjoy hard badge made easy.

Really nice game. I loved the graphics the card system and the different playing methods.
An interesting twist were the artifacts after the battles.
The whole look of the game brought me back the good old passion for rpg games. (Heroes of Might and magic for eg.)

I also felt the game ended to quickly...played it for the first time yesterday and finished the same night. Today i will try another character..and i also agree the confirm skip turn window is not necessary.

Would you like to fight the big war challenge ? In this you and opponent both have 50 Mana power at the start. Your deck will be populated by most costly 4 cards of each type. I also want to plan to put a new Fantasy card. You will get it summoned when you start this Big duel. (+) If you want this. I'm highly impressed with the game, the card aspect is very enjoyable and the AI is much better than I expect of a flash game. I have only two complaints: the campaign mode is too short, and the archmage duels are too luck-based (due to the possibility of getting an unplayably bad random deck) to justify win-x-in-a-row achievements.
The first could be fixed with more content (or some sort of new game + replay with escalating difficulty).
The second could be fixed either by changing the win-x-time-in-a-row archmage achievements to something like "win as each type" or allow full or partial deck customization in the archmage duels (with an appropriate bump in archmage difficulty).
All things considered, you know you've made a great game when the worst criticisms a player can offer are an achievement nitpick and a request for more content.
