I played on medium as a demonologist and it was way too easy to be honest. didnt come close to losing any matches as the AI play too badly.

I recommend a tutorial for the beginning of the game. I've played similar games before and know the basic's of playing a card type game, but it took me a few minutes to get the hang of this one. I'm thinking of the newb's who play these games, even the ones who come back after a while and forgotten.

@TheMadAlchemist: There is one in "Other Options -> Help", although it just goes over what each card does for the most part. I personally have considered making a guide for it since I know the cards by heart now, but dunno how Fighter would feel about an unofficial one :P.

A link to a page explaining the different classes and specialties, as well as strategy and game mechanics to beginners would be useful. Maybe you have one, but I couldn't find it, so in that case, I'd suggest making it more visible and easy to find.

The ai sucks at counting the number of creatures. 0 creatures on the field?!? I should totally play a card that effects/requires creatures!

there is a bug in legue of heroes mode, playing as chrono against izenheart (when u use a card change all cards of that type) when using chrono engine it freeze and there is nothing u can do

What's your favorite team that you've actually been able to make? For me, I just fought with a basically ultimate defense team: 3x Master Healer, 2x Giant Turtle, Troll. Slow battle but ended with a natural 239 hp :D

im old school, i dont bother with the elementals (altho i do use pheonixes when available) my priority is master healer and mind master, then i spam other spells as needed (i typically play either sorc or necro, so plenty of cheap spells to play when slots are filled)

Actually Raven, you want a fire power of 11, not 10. There's a 50/50 chance the archmage has acid rain, which deals 15 damage and reduces your powers by 1. He really loves to use that on phoenixes.

Tip for the archmage battles USE THE PHOENIX! and keep your fire power over 10 ....the enemy is very spammy with death spells like acid rain, boulder rain and inferno...stuff like that. after you get to 20+ fire power go ahead and field 1 fire elemental. NEVER let your fire power go under 10 ....Ever...

Here's a challenge: Do an archmage duel, purposely get the "wide open" badge... and STILL win. It's a blast when it works out (just got it with a random deck myself).

I love this game, but I do consider the campaign duel with Velana in which you have to keep your minotaur alive to be broken. Very unbalanced.

One of my favorite games ever played on Kongregate. Please add more content! I'd even pay a small amount to see this game be downloadable to collect more kinds of cards and play pvp, I'd love to see some more cards though,

I am just trying to be helpful, please do not think its grammarterror. The phoenix hydra tooltip. You can't 'reborn', you can only 'be reborn', because it is an adjective. And it sounds funny :P

I recall playing this game when it was just a single level. I though "Wow! This game is really promising!" I saw it was multiplayer, I almost just refused to click it because of thinking it'd be ruined by pay-to-play. I'm glad I gave this game a chance. Easy 5/5. You (guys) are amazing developers, and I hope to see more games by you (guys) in the future.

PT. 2 Guide to defeating Archmage
How to win
Use tortoises to stall and mostly save your earth mana for Rejuvenation. Always keep fire mana at at least 10. Don't bring down phoenixes randomly. Use them when a strong baddie(like the elementals)come out. Destroy Astral Guards ASAP if they come out. If left too long, you won't have enough time to phoenix. If he's impossible to kill him with phoenixes, save up air mana to lightning strike him.
Remember to be patient and please upvote if this helped to keep it alive for other people.

PT. 1 Guide to defeating Archmage:
Stall and eventually get your field decked out with phoenixes. If it comes down to him being impossible to kill(ie. him using giant tortoises, archangels, hydras), wait for enough air mana to use lightning strike to kill him when you have enough.

Love this game so much, I come back to it all the time, this is my first time reading the comments, and like many others i have fallen in love with the developers and plan on buying the Ipad version just cuz you guys deserve it and I'm always coming back to this for a few arch duels. Also thanks loads for allowing custom decks, thats half the fun of CCGs<3
