Nice game but some of the items' cost are bit on the high side, especially when each item can only be used once. Nevertheless I did manage to arrive at day 21 or 22 (first try).

Fun, although I think the $ amounts need adjusting...for the cost of 2 perfumes and 2 signs he could fly the rest of the way.

Using mochiads leaderboard on kongregate is LAME. That you want your game to be played outside of kongregate is no excuse what so ever. It’s very simple to just make two version. It’s just a tiny bit of code to replace. A few lines. Upload the kongregate only version to kongregate, and distribute the mochiads leaderboard version everywhere else.
Any game on kongregate with mochiads leaderboard is an automatic 1/5 rating from me.

Wow, very fun game! And thanks cobshape! With your advice I made it to LA in 10 days. I hope this game becomes more popular because it's good and people seem to like it.

Yes, food is most important. Baked beans are the best, 25hp, 2 bag spaces. perfume is good too, but food (beans!) is a must!

Good game but too easy. Don't bother buying anything other than food (and more bags), do enough begging to buy food. Hitchhiking: stick your thumb out immediately, there is always a vehicle in the first couple of seconds. If you have excess money, buy perfume, but don't waste AP trying to get enough money to buy lots. Don't buy fire-making stuff - it only costs you 10hp for not having a fire and food is cheaper for replenishing hp.

I somehow ended up with negative space being used in my inventory. I had like seven cans of beans, a slew of bacon, a flamethrower, three fuel, a bear trap, and four or five cologne, yet I was using -2/75 space.

I enjoyed this game, though I found half the items and some of the minigames unnecessary. Completely original concept, cute graphics, and nice gameplay. Rated 4/5

Using mochiads highscores on kongregate, instead of integrating kongregate highscores earns you a rating of 1/5. And no, it's not a lot of work to integrate the kongregate highscores.
