FFS. If you do the math, the fully upgraded machine gun has far superior damage per second to the fully upgraded shotgun (including reload rate and clip size in the equation). Though, since each individual bullet from the shotgun has a solid ratio to the health of the average drone, it depends completely on your play strategy. That's why I use both ^_^

Game hints by me =D -> dont upgrade any iten but: SMG, Laser and Trilaser. dont buy anything but the main weapons (buy all of them but dont upgrade) and these 2 weapons, you should have 4 of these: 4 SMGs and 4 Lasers. and also buy your Shoulder weapon in case (wich is almost impossible) all your weapons need to reload at the same time. in that way the only lvl i had some dificulty was lvl 23 but i only died when there were 5 enemies left. Thumbs up to keep it alive!

Good game, but. There are some things that really need fixing. Like the SMGs, they are a little overpowered, you need antialiasing, and the spinning blade AI kinda sucks, they just bounce around all over the place, they should come straight at you. And I found a spot all the way at the bottom of the map where you go out of the screen abd you can still shoot, you can still be shot at and hit, though. And a few more armor designs would be appreciated. And I agree with the top second comment, going from a little drone to a big mech would be cooler then just staying this little flying drone. And also, the name is a big throw off. I though this would be a game of walking mechs, instead I play it and find that you can only be a flying drone. And you should be able to color your weapons and armor how ever you like. But for a browser game, the 3D is good, good game over all. I like it

not bad. good difficulty curve, but it needs to have a higher end on it. the last wave is pathetic, compared to the weapons you're using, even without RBEMP and invincibility. Suggestions: bosses at the end of waves. doesn't need to be every wave, but maybe every other or every fifth or something. More shoulder weapons. perhaps a piercing shot kind of weapon

you should make more maps that you could explore in instead of the box shaped one thats always there you should be able to upgrade your armor by like 50 hp rather than having it jump by like 300 at a time and the tank guys should shoot faster overall good job
p.s make it less easy to hack if you can

finally, a unity game that doesn't lag. the game is a good balance although the game play and upgrades could do with a few tweaks. you could also make it harder by making boss waves as well as the basic waves.

could do with more slots for weapons :D in my opinion , i think the smg is the best in the game. just use it to ram the AIs while dodging the slow bullets , gets u through at least 10 waves :)

nice work, would like to see this game redone as a normal angle top down instead of the off angled camera and with more than just one level structure. Also it seems that the mech moves slowly while holding one directional button, and only moves at full speed when holding two directional buttons at once. Don't know if any one else noticed this, but it seemed limiting to me.

SMG is ultimate weapon. Buy 4 of them, then upgrade. Later buy rocket launcher. That's all you need.
Shotgun, laser and improved basic cannons are useless.

Lost alot more time than it was worth, waiting for something cool. Nothing like that happened - ~20 wave, and it's too boring to continue. 2/5, just for animations (which are cool, actually)...

Well done. A little easy but still fun. would have liked to have been able to sell unused weapons. Also, a choice of more types of tanks and setup configurations would add a new degree of entertainment.

liked it, but a little bit too easy. I always waited for the final wave with a huge boss with tons of homing missiles ;)

How about letting people sell things... or giving some credit when you fail a level... It is the height of enjoyment to be stuck on a level and have no way to advance...

Bullet should trepassing enemy with their remaining power especially for the shotgun, all the bullet goes waste on a single enemy :\

To everyone saying you need shields to beat Wave 21: You don't. It's hard, but with good weapons, you really don't.
As for the giant tanks, I thought thay were meant to be like a miniboss, not a SWARMER. They're too overpowered to be as common as they are.
3/5.

By the time you get to wave 30, you have enough money to buy every weapon and all the armor, and upgrade everything to max.... so what exactly is the point of the "would you like to start over with all your equipment?" you've already done everything, doesn't exactly have a lot of replay value.

Camera angle is giving me a headache. Also, losing all Xp when you die sucks, since you can't repeat earlier levels to get more Xp and make yourself stronger so that you don't die. Targeting is difficult because of the angle: it would help if there were circles on the ground under the enemy representing the hitboxes & a target cursor on the ground for where you're shooting.

ok so it's pretty easy until you get to the round where the tanks come out. Pretty good game and I only have one complaint. You can't save up Exp (money). If you don't spend it each round you lose what ever is left over. Meaning, when you get to the really expensive stuff you can't really afford to upgrade anything because you CANNOT save exp. And why can't we sell the useless stuff?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A decent start, but it needs a lot of work. The play field is much too small. Access to new weapons/upgrades needs to be tweaked; several times I found myself with excess xp and nothing to buy. Adding upgrades to armor would be a nice improvement. The game is much too easy. Also, you misspelled invincible.

Like many of the Unity games we've been seeing, this seems almost more like a demonstration of gameplay rather than a fully realized game. Much less attention could have been put toward the depth of gun upgrades and much more should have been put into a meaningful story, interesting maps, and tough player decisions.

Some things you might not think are important but are: 1) the font sucks. 2) the top level armour colour should match the top level gun colour, it just looks cooler. 3) divide weapons up by where they can be equipped and let us click to switch. Clicking a weapon, clicking a slot and then getting no response at all because it's the wrong slot for the weapon isn't particularly user friendly.

can you add that if you lose a level you still get EXP based on the number of bots killed? it gets really anoyying to just lose over and over agian on a level
