PS. The game mechanics are just brilliant! The gameplay needs some challenge though - right now it's just clicking. It should be more 'puzzly' I believe...
Thanks for detailed thoughts! It is getting there on later levels with more "pressing" from mana and large amount of colors. But I guess we need to hint that this is coming at early levels somehow. Frankly, for a sequel I am thinking about great simplification of the mechanics - something like "night only" levels.
Glad you've spotted that. My colorblind friend complained that I have picked "bad" colors for my previous game http://www.kongregate.com/games/KingDotCom/gluey. Yellowish-green and greenish-yellow were almost the same for him. We learn from those mistakes!

you should mention somewhere, that clicking a fish costs two mana - by the way not killing them saved me several times ;)

Beautiful. An old and tried basic idea paired with a lot of totally new twists.
Could be a big thing on Google Play or the Appstore.

what about a puzzle mode? you are given a set amount/color of blocks and no extra blocks come in from the sides, and you have to figure out how to get rid of all of them (you dont have to make stickies (i think thats what they are called (those things made from 5 regular blocks)))
Hmm... This is special kind of underwater creatures, who happen to look exactly like their airbreathing counterparts! [Fizzgear desperately hopes this explanation is plausible enough! ;-) ]
oooh. Are you on Google Chrome by chance? Still trying to nail this issue down with other kong'ers. Also: has music started playing (this will help me debug the moment it freezed).

The behaviour of the whole stickylinky structure is very unpredictable, or is that just me? When I click something, the result is always different from what i had in mind. However, it's a nice twist to the old match-x games.
Heh, that's something I can't answer for sure! :) I looked at those guys for many months now as I coded them, I can predict their movements down to the millimeter. But yeah - they stick together from all different directions, so it can be even frustrating at times when chains are just tiny bits apart and do not want to connect! :)
Could you please double check that Chrome is fully updated (Settings-About)? Mine is at 21.0.1180.89 and seem to work fine. If it won't work, leave me a shout and I'll see if this can be reproduced/fixed.

No, no each click does not take up only one mana. Clicking fish takes up 2, which I believe is ludicrous considering the fact that they come through once every few seconds. And it's not like you can just ignore them seeing as they suck in blobs from a large area around them, so they're pretty effective at ruining anything you're trying to do. The least you could do is tell us that. It took a little while for me to figure out why exactly I was running out of mana so fast on underwater levels.
Thanks for spotting 2 mana-points thing. I'll think over that and probably reduce cost to just 1. Actually unless fish is eating your monster, they are relatively harmless. They are even sometimes useful (as they can eat out a lot of bad non-matching groups ;) ).
Can you please double check you've got the latest Flash Player http://get.adobe.com/ru/flashplayer/ and that your browser is fully updated as well? I just double checked in all browsers (well, tripple checked in fact) - don't see any obvious issues.
Yeah - frankly I like the simplicity of those levels too. Kind of hard to create enough variaty with just that mechanics though ;). Maybe if we can come up with enough nightly variations, we can build totally nightly level pack.
Basically you can only click chains of blobs (2 or more stuck together). Need to make long chains of blobs. If you remove a chain of 5+ blobs you will evolve a creature. Collect enough of those creatures and you'll win the level! Check out walkthrough, it will probably add even more clarity to what is going on!

A basic puzzle-physics game with a unique twist. I like it! Some other mechanics wouldn't hurt though, sometimes it just feels repetitive...
