Awesome game - I have no idea why people are having trouble with the newborn bit - then again when the guy says 'you can go get more parts if you want' I went and got more parts maybe you are just plinking 1 bullet?

Imagine that there was some magic item that allows you to lock a target, so they you wont attack other random ships all the time. That would really be overpowered, cause then you can actually destroy the enemy you want to destroy.

id give it a 3/5 because when you do a mission and then accidentally leave sector and come back, it restarts. that it some serious bullshit. also the loots disappear too which sucks

If you click (or shift+click and drag) then click yourself you can have units folo you. I figured this out after about 23724 points.

First of all, to people who say you can't load, when you click New Campaign the name you picked is the name you type in on the Continue Campaign. Thats how you load your file, using the same name you picked.

I agree with the dude that said the Skirmish mode is retarded.
If you could load your ship into it, and somehow adjust the enemy to have a ship that is equally powerful, it would be great!
This game is still 5/5 though, don't get me wrong :)

Great game but after you get alot of weapons you cant keep up with the energy usage the power cells need to give you more energy

29 weapons 11 thrusters and alot of other stuff, love using all the thrusters and speeding through the dead zones, i can get like a foot away from the first town before i die in the dead zone WITHOUT using my regen things

I look forward to the next installment, virus free and hopefully able to load your previous ship... btw, the skirmish is retarded... the ship sucks, there is no real point in playing it if you've beaten the game and done the bonus missions. The missle2 (gigantic battle class weapons) parts are pointless, but good money makers, My ship was as follows: shell :10900, regen:3, core 4450, energy 3200, regen: 7, weight: 203, speed: 100, accel: 30
10 missle1's, 10 beam2s, 7 thrust2s, 3 damage1s, 6 energy1s, 4 core heal1s, and 4 shell boost2s... it could go on indefinately and only had trouble with the commanders if dealing with carrier.

A major problem is that when fighting battles and skirting the edge, if you leave then your progress is erased. This is very annyoing especially if you're about to win.

to get giant pieces go north of haven 3 into a dead zone and find a large fighter destroy it and you might get a part!

A really great game and I await the sequel.
Note: that the weapons are kinda weird, with the laser easily being the best.
One trick that I did was change the special abilties to be heal, then energy, then heal, then energy so that I could run my finger over the number keys and get a full heal.
Also make it so that I can brake more easily. A couple of times I would accidently jet out and lose all of my energy and turrets. Make it so that I can more easily designate a fighter quad to me because once I died they would just sit around if I went down. Make it easier to carry multiple turrets (or just make them deactivated or something). Because it is tedious to get multiple long range turrets into position.
Also, make the mining things gather resources automatically too.
Again, great game.

Gonna go with 5/5 stars on this one. But moving the abilities around would be easier if they could be dragged from page to page instead of having to move the physical pieces around just to make room. I really like keeping my manual commands grouped on the first page and the automatic ones on the second, but it gets complicated to do that when building my ship a certain way.
