Nice mood, a bit slow, and really looks like a game that was built for more pixels and shrunk down to fit... i.e. serious eyestrain playing it.

I really like the game play, and it could be even better if there was a "frenzy" mode where things move faster. Keys are unnecessary to game play, but could make for a reward system: unlocked an armory snag a shotgun.
Dogs freaked me out the first time they popped up. Nice.
If you zoom in on it in Firefox the size issues go away.

A couple of huge flaws: First and foremost, the zombie groans? F'n annoying. They need a separate off button. Yay, there's zombies, we get it. Second, at least put a lock icon or something in a room that has doors that are still locked so you can remember where to go on the crappy, crappy minimap. Better yet, a gray outline for rooms you've been in and an arrow or something pointing to locks. Third, some of the walls are glitchy - never got stuck in one, but sometimes you can see zombies scrape against a wall in a dark room. Finally, EVERYTHING IS TOO DAMN SMALL, even if I ctrl-scroll to make it as big as my 17 inch monitor. Fix that shiz. 1/5.

man, this guy is in a basement.....supposed to find and kill the source.....but he dosn't have the decency to carry a rocket launcher at the beginning? i mean, he's a guy thats trying to save the world and the -town- or whatever, or shelter, he came from, just gave him a stupid shit pistol?

Game has a good concept but gets REALLY repetitive and boring after about 2 minutes. Need some variation through the levels and smoother gameplay 2/5

Great game. 5/5 could make everything a bit bigger though, they're so small. I often mistake them for keys and items.

you shouldnt always get stuck on zombies when they touch you...make some that just run and slash...and others that are slower but if they get you the only way to get them off is by shooting...not enough variation D:

Ah, just found the flashlight option in the Options menu. ;) That solves the fov angle thing. Awesome work, really. Just work on that level progression/reward rate!

Dont let the comments here discourage you; this is one of the best zombie-survival-horror top-down shooters I've ever seen, as far as presentation goes. You're really on to something here. I would suggest lighting be dynamic as a front-cone flashlight instead of room-fov, and more incentive, earlier on. I also couldnt find a weapon after 20 minutes of playing and 3 basement levels...Add a bit faster progression. Great work though.

another potential game that needs a lot more work...zombies should at least swerve towards you instead of running in circles trying to get you if you get behind them. there could be some dif types too...not same old same old. and an annoying glitch occurs often if you run slightly off in an entrance/exit section you can get stuck in the wall and have to load up last saved point. graphics could be a little better as well.

i cant do anything its not moving slowly the comp is lagging and freezing up any 1 else havethis problem (its only hapening on this game)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
While I found it to be quite fun, the lag ended up defeating my enthusiasm for the game. I will try it on my Home PC which is a lot more powerful than the work PC I tried it on.

amazing intro looked like an awsome game to start but the problems i found were 1 the picturs it shows you look nothing like the actull things all u see is heads 2 it loses intrest its like monsters den only you move not needed if r going to move make it a free place not a couple tunnles 3 graphics terrable 4 if zombies were in tunnles there would most likly be survivors witch would make it fun and last milatary get sent in they have plans not ah run zombie kill source thingy how would he know theres a source and milatary have plans lock down get to surface this game dosent relate to a good zombie game work on these things and it would be a great game hope to see a number 2 :) 2/5

It's... Ok. I found it to essentially be a Left4KDead clone, with better graphics, and more weapons. But here is the thing - it's slow. Very very slow. The characters would need to move faster, or there needs to be more of a shock factor. And the lantern is close to useless since the flashlight has better vision, and you can swing it around much faster.

This is like a present, right. It's very beautifully wrapped. Inside the present is another present. It is also beautifully wrapped. You keep opening them, and you're still continually impressed with the presentation, but you're not finding anything you actually want.
That's how I feel about this game.

I'm most of the way through Basement 2 on Normal, I've been going room by room covering 100%. As the others have said: The most I've ever found behind a locked door was zombies, and the shotgun is useless. Also the respawn rate is insane, it makes the idea of methodically searching the ... building, whatever it is, a BAD idea. Thanks for the save feature though, without it the game would be unplayable due to bleeding memory like a severed neck. This is a great example of what I want though. Fix it [some? plz?] and I'll five and fave it, plus I'll wish I had a GD cent to my name so I could donate.

its boring, but other then that good game, there isn't much enfusiasm to keep going though, if there was levelling and such it would be better
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the presentation of the game, but it's so slow paced and repetitive the appeal quickly wears off. I'd reconsider the spawn rate, introduce some sort of upgrade system, and perhaps bosses or checkpoints to go for while running around.

Pistol is surprisingly good, even though you gotta click like hell it gets the job done. Shotgun is a big disappointment, with delay between shots so ridicilously long it sure doesn't work so well against a bigger bunch. So much for the "crowd pleaser". I did discover that switching between another weapon and back again to shotgun resets the delay, but it's so painfully ardous to do plus I consider it cheating.

great game, the flashlight, sounds, and use of shadow were great, and created a really creepy atmosphere, like a mini dead space. I'd elaborate on this a bit more and maybe put in faster/bigger/creepier enemies, and other weapons couldn't hurt. great game though 4/5

also, NEVER RELOAD!!!!!!!!! you throwout whatever's left in your clip!!! even if u have full ammo he'll still reload and throw out an entire clip!!!

but srsly, this is a pretty good game, up the brightness, fix that useless door crap, more weapons and stuff. i only found the submachine gun and the machine gun (2 and 4)

you must be doing it wrong. i found something behind a locked door. it was another locked door. and behind that one, some lovely scenery! (a god damn bed) -_-
