kerket, a lot of video games require two hands to play and multiple-button controls, and the control scheme is pretty far from the worst ever and pretty easy to use.
Devean, the badge is easy because you can complete it within the first few minutes, maybe even the first level without much trouble since it's just juggling the same enemy a few times.

Nice game loved it - the use of weapons was real kool. love the way the check points use to give me 5 lives back.. had a great time playing this one - Good job the game designer + the level designer. also one more thing love the sound and the graphics :)

so much of this game is well done... I had it rated 4/5, but it forced the 5/5 out of me with the boss music at the end. felt so epic to have the trumpets going. love it.

@ Dev: Weird bug that I have had a couple of times now on the second level. After going down a zip line, the rattling sound it makes keeps playing even after ending the level and starting a new one. Not a game breaker, but the constant sound is a bit annoying. Also, is it Calavera as in Grim Fandango's Manny Calavera?
Should be fixed now in the updated Version 1.03! Mainly used Calavera because it means "skull", so I guess that's why they used it in Grim Fandango too :)

one small bug is that the zipline noise takes over the soundtrack, so even when I'm in the menu, it's still there, and I have to restart the game to get rid of it. Otherwise fantastic game! 5/5

If you’re just here for the badge…
To “juggle” an enemy, hit it repeatedly until it flies up into the air. Then continue to hit it before it can reach the ground. After you hit it four or five times, it should rocket up into the air and disappear; that’s how you know you’ve successfully juggled it. Of course, to juggle successfully, you need to find a fairly open area (give yourself space because you may need to run forward to complete a series of hits) and may need to jump in behind an enemy in order to knock it in the proper direction. Fists seem to work better for this than most weapons. Juggle five enemies to get the badge - but you may also need to visit a checkpoint or finish a level afterward (or my internet may just be lagging).
Hope this helps.

When you complete 100% of the game, you unlock the Serpent Blade, which kills any enemy (except the bosses) in one hit.
Very nice game! I really would enjoy spend more hours playing a third Cactus McCoy. :)

@Darkruler2005 - Alpaca Jack can be juggled with fists, but if you want it the easy way take a chainsaw or similar and let him dance on it. Final boss is also quite easy: run and hide, let him use his spec's like 3 or 4 times, then he rests to restore his spec for 2 sec and is very vulnerable. The 50x challenge: you might use firecrackers, train with them at scamwell, you might get like 60+ combo on the first ememies if you're quick. Later in lvl 10 carry them to a place where you meet lots of enemies and combo them.

There seems to be a bug: I've mastered every weapon, but it still says that I'm one short of mastering all throwing weapons. It seems to be counting the ladder spear as part of the requirement, but mastering it doesn't count towards the badge.

One of the best games for Kongregate. I always like all games like this but it seems most of developers don't create such games anymore.

Hey Dev. if you're gonna make a 3rd one, you should think about making it so you can hold more then one weapon and be able to switch them out the q and e. just a thought relating to the challenges where you need a certain weapon/tool to complete them but dont want to use them up staying alive. + this to hopefully make the next game even better.

I may have a found a glitch but I don't know what caused it. The 2nd level, something made the sound of the ziplines loop even after I was off them, and it kept playing even after the level was finished.

Weapons like Power Ball, Water Balloon and Eggs, once you complete the challenges required for those, and have mastered them...you theoretically never have to use them again.
Ladder Spears do not make good weapons but I mastered it anyway. You can use it for fun if you wish when fighting.

How do you get the first treasure chest on level 6? Pressing down just moves my elevator and shooting it doesn't work.

Ok I give up, I have mastered all of the weapons, maxed all the stats and got all of the badges (but 2). So what is the last weapon and how do I get it?

Darkruler2005-
You can juggle Alpaca Jack very easily; I did it on my first try. As for combos, they're a cinch to pull off in this game, and having max upgraded fists certainly wasn't a problem for me in obtaining a X50 combo on level 10.

I gotta say the melee combat is really slick. Just put all of your money into upgrading McCoy's fists and watch the enemies fly!

I love Cactus McCoy! My only complaint is that bullets seem to go right through people's heads (maybe the hitbox needs to be moved up just a tiny bit?)
Keep up the awesome work!

On lvl 7 if you blow up the starting wall with a starting weapon instead of hitting the explosive switch the boulders will not start falling and you can cross the first area safely.

Sometimes you need the right tool: a net for the butterflies, waterballoons for torches, bladed weapons for turningweeds and so on...

A well made, solid, game. I wish there was a way to see weapons attack stats though. The only clue I have besides how good they are in battle, is their price, but that gets hidden after I buy them :(
