I think best strategy to get lots more enemies launched is to use the swinging weapons or thrusting weapons. I don't know if using guns are the best for it.

Love the game-my wife, not so much. But I cannot figure out how to get the last clown on the train-found him, just can't blow up the barrier. Any help? 5/5

Feeling stupid but.. how do you open a treasure chest when you have to fall past it? (ie no platform or anything ? I've found 3 like that and one hanging on a rope. Can't figure out how to open. Help?

Quayle, early on in the level there's a metal bridge and a rope, fall down from there and there's a few enemies and a skyrocket, jet up with the skyrocket and go to your left and you find a butterfly net.

@Wazoo - grab a crocodile and find a group of enemigos. The rapidfire weapons like the crocodile and chainsaw can actually generate more hits per enemigo (like up to 15 from a single death) without launching them off the screen.

It would be nice to be able to see some damage information about the different weapons in the arsenal page rather than just judging by price.

Oh, this could easily be a computer platform game. Really impressive, after Captain Claw, this is my favorite platform game. Ten years ago, with this game, you would have been millionaire. Congratulations for the excellent saga!

I forgot to also say-it feels VERY good when you hit an enemy, like your punch is not worthless. Also, it feels awesome to rocket an enemy in the air.

DEFINITELY upgrade all the weapons. You earn the Serpent Blade which pretty much destroys anything in a swipe and is super-durable. Should make completing all challenges much easier.
To upgrade weapons the quickest, DO NOT juggle. Just go for quick kills.

Never make another Papa's Game again!! Spend your time making more of *these* instead!! I've had a lot of fun playing, and I love the vast (and often amusing) weapon variety.
Please let us customize the controls, and give us the ability to *view the objectives (Challenges) while playing*!! Either via the Pause menu, or by hovering the cursor over the stars (frankly, this should have been obvious).
Easily 4/5 stars, and I'm a strict rater.

You catch the butterflies with a butterfly net that you find, it's on a ledge in the level somewhere, to the left of where a rocket is.

Honestly, I was very disappointed that the weapons don't change their form when you master them. That'd be awsome, I'd probably master every weapon if that were the case. Amazing game none the less 5/5

Amazing game... just refer to the best comments... there is nothing I can add. The Projectile Pro badge in game seem to be broken... I mastered every throwable weapons including the Ladder Spear, yet it only shows 14/15 done. Again... amazing game and I think I like it even more than Cactus McCoy 1... which is a hard feat to do. 6/5 :-P

@wisefool83: right after first launch with rocket, go a little to the right and fall down to a kind of a hole. There are some baddies, treasure chest on the right side and a barrel rocket in the middle. Take barrel and go immediately to the left, as much as you can. Rocket will explode on the roof. when you fall down, you'll land on the net. (I think) that's the only butterfly net on the level.

I lost my progress after beating all but one level. at first I was sad... until I started replaying and realized that It's still amazing. 5/5, and then some.
That sucks that you lost your progress! Did you delete your cookies? Deleting cookies now deletes Flash saved games in a lot of browsers.... really frustrating!

"Good, the weekend. Finally some time to catch up on some sleep and see my friends agai- HOLY SHIT IT'S CACTUS McCOY 2 OUTTA MY WAY."

I would regret not mentioning “Cactus McCoy” (parts 1 & 2) from Flipline Studios as some of my favorites (seeing as I have spent so much time on these two GREAT games). You not only are challenged to get the Kong achievements, but also can go for the in-game awards as well. Flipline is one of the best all around game makers on Kongregate in my opinion. Quality games. Thanks for hours of fun!!

Great game! For the sequel, I'd love to see the weapon mastering do something a bit more varied to make grinding for that last badge a bit more entertaining. :)
Eggs - Upgraded to 2 dozen! Bottles - now filled with flaming bourbon! Gatling Gun - more ammo! TNT - bigger blasts! Rattlesnake - venom! Water Balloons - now in the shape of cute animals! And so on.
5/5

I found a way to get myself stuck. On area 7 there is a hole right after a long line of floor spikes (on the screen before the second checkpoint I think). When you fall into it you find a rocket barrel on the bottom and some bricks that can be destroyed on the left, just at the height you can't jump to. I crashed the rocket several times to destroy the first few and then managed to pick up the rocket, then throw it at the right wall, where it bounced and went in the corridor on the left. So there I am, on the bottom of the hole and the rocket is not respawning :(

If you're just playing for the badge then it doesn't seem to award them or show progress until the end of a level (or maybe if you die; I didn't try that).

All the fun of running your own cactus restaurant. Grill and put those toppings on those cactus rings as the customers flood to order.... wait they actually made a decent game and a sequel? Wow.

I gave the original 5 stars, and have it bookmarked since I'm still a little obsessed with getting the challenges. But unlike the first version, not only can I hold a chicken and a chainsaw at the same time, I apparently have a legit reason to type chicken and chainsaw in the same sentence...that's just beautiful! :D
