@siiti: We've heard some keyboards (especially on laptops) can't do two arrow keys plus the "S" key at the same time. If you can't aim diagonally up (or down when running/jumping), try switching your controls to use Z and X instead of A and S, that sometimes gets around this problem.

Had 39/40 challenges, so i decided to go for the first one in the last level, which was actually pretty long. To get there, you should not break any vases in the beginning, and take them with you, and leave them in places where you need to jump a bit higher.

Excellent game! Extremely polished and professional. I enjoyed it immensely, and still look forward to completing the rest of the challenges.
There are just a few things that I was missing a little bit as I played. (I admit that these are total nitpicks) Firstly, the background music was excellent, among the highest quality I've heard on a free internet game, but I was somewhat disappointed as I went through the levels and it was the same two themes over and over. Second, I loved whipping weapons, but would have liked to be able to whip them upwards and at angles. Thirdly...maybe a couple of more boss fights?

The game is extremely in details, including graphics and game-play. Wide range of weapons make the game ultimate. Achievement/star/treasures are not too difficult and not too easy. I think it is the best adventure-action game in 2011! (5/5 + favourite)

Excellent game. Getting all the chickens in the coop on area four really brought back some Legend of Zelda memories. 4/5

I had a great time replaying this game. For the third time... :) Says enough about the quality and the playability of this game, if you ask me.
I can only hope that there will be a Cactus McCoy 3 someday.

If you decide to defeat the boss doing the challenge using fists here is what you do.First if he jumps dodge or else you get hit.while you punch him he could stay back and use his guns.To dodge that jump behind him so that he can't shoot you

I managed to fix it. Just in case someone has the same issue: I changed my "move left" control to another key (in my case the right ctrl which was the nearest key) and it worked just fine. However, if I change it back to left arrow it returns to not working. Weird...

All right. I've got a problem. I can press up, right and s simultaneously to make a parabolic shoot to the right, but I can't do the same thing to the left. I press up and left, he aims correctly, but when I press s he just does nothing!! Any help?? It's starting to freak me out!!

Found a bug/glitch. If you are standing on a explosive barrel and then drop an explosive barrel near it, it will cause the explosive barrel you were currently standing on to explode, and you will be standing in mid-air.

I would put this jewel of a game among the top 10 games in Kongregate, to say the least. Excellent game with good graphics, playability, music, sound, control, difficulty. Provided lots of fun. 5/5

@Bohemico, there are secret arena-like areas in some levels. If there's a challenge referring to a rumble, it's either the arena at the end of the level or one of the secret ones.

Very nice game...you would find rare games like this.every thing is so detailed even in weapons,monsters,mcCoy, and even the story linee... for me its one of the best game..and btw for the creator of this game GOOD JOB MEN!
