Timed challenges are unnessecary and unfair. One little *Fall* and you automatically fail. If it's gonna be timed, don't make it record breaking, one should be able to beat it BEFORE time's out not 5 seconds later.

Cactuses are not lifeless! Pssht!
But besides that, this game is awesome, deserving all the praise and appreciation possible!

What just happened? Was there some plot twist there that I just missed? I went in to the final boss with all my lives, and lost them all 'cause he's hardcore. But then instead of returning me to the menu, it went to this screen with the boss saying "I'll get you McCoy!" and it said I won. How did I win?

Just got all badges and my only thoughts are this: First of all I love the attention to detail, namely how when you leave the screen and come back every single weapon lying on the ground is exactly where you left it with as much power as was left in it. This is unexpected in pretty much any game.

Superb game! Well balanced objectives, Perfect difficulty curve, super attention to every game detail, beautiful graphics, and very fun to play. This is one of the best games on Kongregate!

Here is the perfect strategy for the final boss: break open the second vase and grab the rattlesnake. When you get to the boss, crouch down and don't move (this will dodge his bullets). Every time he jumps at you, hit him, then he will jump back.

@Kabi, wearing them mixes aound the first and second words of your sentence, confusing the enemies and increasing the time between their attacks. Hope this helped :)

to shanus777: All of them are possible. You should just try harder, like in Brimstone Mine you have to jump from the very-very end of the platform and swing the pickaxe at the right moment. The same way with the scorpion target. Good luck!

Now this one is really one of the best jump'n'run games I've ever played. Lots of good ideas (I really like those chickens), side missions, secret treasures, chickens, background story, adequate difficulty, more chickens, cool soundtrack, good graphics, even more chickens, no bugs, bottomless pits.. you name it! I hope I didn't forget to mention the chickens...

Getting 100% Completion (All 60 Treasures, All 60 Level Challenges, All 80 Badges) unlocks "Hatfield's Pistol". From then on you will start each level with the ultimate weapon, Hatfield's Pistol. It fires bullets just like the shotgun but it has super high durability and high damage.

If you want to get high scores juggle, a lot.
Each hit in the combo grants you n+1 money, and 10 to 40 points to the "hit points" score. Both money, and points are counted in the score. (boxers and soldiers grant more score, always clear the path to juggle them).
And always juggle in the bottom of the map so you have a better sight of the enemy.
Its just that the game remains fun, even at 100%. 5/5

Pretty fun overall- like the variety of weapons! Gets a little repetitive, but really like the graphics/animations and being able to bounce a guy up 10x after killing :o

@Kailemar before the 1st one, at the far left, there should be an area with 2 tnt barrels and some guy with a cactus, you can drop down through the floor there.

@bobmarquez: In the bottom-left while playing there's a swirly-arrow button for restarting the level, comes in handy when you're working on challenges :)

Anyone got a good strategy for getting the Juggler challenge on Powderkeg Pass? I can't seem to find three guys to juggle at once.

Great game!
Quite easy though. At least some of the challenges are pretty hard (and some just annoying) and there are also some secret areas to find.
Thanks Flip for another great game!

When I first grabbed that pipe and hit someone with it, I nostalged back to Double Dragon days. You made this older gamer grin :) 5/5

I like how the control scheme is exactly the same as RoS. Once it said a to jump, I was all like "Kay. S to attack." Totally nailed.

Did anyone else notice that Popoca, the name of the cactus ghost, is almost the same offbeat name as Popoka (Ortega's traveling name from the Dragon warrior series)
Or am I the only one here that nerdy... ((Forever alone ;_; ))

A very good Kongregate platformer. It's rather lengthy, chock full of collectables and extras, and is just fun to play. Also, everything from level 4 concerning the chickens was inspired by Zelda and I LOVE YOU FOR IT!

No! I thought I was safe in the desert. I didn't know that cacti are murderers. That's not nice, but thank you developer for saying this. Now I can be safe again.

"From huan to cactus
Than finally stone
The course will continue
Untill it is home"?
So place where McCoy found jewel wasn't it's proper place, but other robber turned to stone?

Played the later one first, about a month ago. Love to see where it came from, and how he made it even better. Faved.

WOw, this is pretty amazing. You can tell this is a high-effort, high-detail labor of love, unlike the game developers who slam out an easy crowd-pleasing game every single month.

Am I the only one who thinks that if you fall down a hole whilst holding a chicken that the chicken should also respawn?
