A little help for getting challenge 5 on area 12. I used the meteor/ball and chain and kept hitting him over and over and whenever he backed up I knew he was going to shoot so I'd duck until he was done and hit him again and again and never lost any health. I hope this helps. Also the 60 hit combo was kind of hard, but easiest before the fight by getting at least 10 hits off of each guy.

A little tip for beating the boss without getting killed challenge. Tried a variety of the weapons available in the last level, and found the best to be either the rattlesnake in one of the vases, or the purple enimigo's ball and chain if you can knock it out of his hands. when facing the boss i just kept ducking and whipping when he jumped next to me. the gun shots can't hit you whilst ducking. if he sends other enimigos, drop the weapon to save its "life" and pick back up when you have finished them off. The rattlesnake lasted me until i killed him. hope this helps!

Achievements, Upgrades, Challenges, hidden treasures, nice graphics, good music, lots of weapons and best of all: beating dead enemies to my hearts content and even get more and more money for each hit. How could you NOT like this game?

Look at the highscores for Upgrades Purchased, the highest score even reaches 600+ when the max level for each stat is 6 (that implies that the max number of upgrades purchased is 5*5=25). This shows us these people whose highscore exceed 25 are hacking without a doubt.

Loved this game, found a neat little glitch, though, stick a chicken on a crate then destroy it, the chicken will float, HARD BADGE SOON!

this game has great detail in weapons 52 cards in a deck to the scythe of the grim reaper killing you on the first hit. awesome

Lots of in game achievements and challenges. Movement/attack controls are adjustable. Wide variety of weapons. Fun, western themed music. High Score, over a dozen modes. A great new game which is an instant 5 star favorite in my book.

I wish Sunset Gulch (level 10) would have bottomless signs. There was a hole next to a house, it had no sign so I jumped in. I wasted my LIFE!

Amazing game, good use of achievements and badges to increase the replayability value. One of the games on Kongregate I can give a 5/5 without any regrets.

From a programmers standpoint this game has a lot of work in it, very detailed. The character design, level design, challenges, and upgrade system are very well implemented. The weapons are even designed nicely, being able to glide with a chicken is very cool.
As far as my personal taste as a gamer, I just can't play this game for hours, the whole run, jump, and kill baddies thing lost it's playability for me. Would be cool if the character used the fact he is a cactus to some advantage, like flinging spikes or something cool like that. But mostly it just feels like the mechanics of walking around picking up weapons is boring. I think it needs a different way to control the character, and a different way to grab weapons would be cool too. Just my opinion.4/5

This game has a lot of effort put into it, and I like that. The music really gets me going, little challenges if you want to push yourselves, hidden treasures, etc. This game has a lot of little details also. Counting, I found that you can throw 52 cards. There are a total of 52 cards in a real deck. I really appreciate all the work into this... 5/5. Unfortunately this comment will be lost in the sea of comments in the next 5 comments.

*Begins slow clap* Once again Fliplinestudios, you have done it, you have made a terrific and fun game. Hope you guys get a job making a game for one of the console systems, you deserve it!

Somehow, I find it surprising that a man with cacti for hands cant simply punch his enemies once in the face and walk away.

So... where do the weapons go when he's climbing and why do I feel like the cactus would be really painful to "store" anywhere?

I don't like the controls. I know that I can change them, but it doesn't let me use my mouse for attack and I can't change things like jump/crouch to go down a platform. This game would be more fun if I could change these things.

For those having trouble shooting diagonally, try changing the controls - NOT the directional controls, but the buttons for attack, jump, and drop item. When I couldn't shoot diagonally, I changed the controls to Z, X, and C and then it usually worked, though you might have to try a few different arrangements. Vote this to help everybody get the challenges.
