This game is amazing. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed the Papa Louie games but I have always felt that the games don’t really have any point or end game, AND THIS GAME FIXES IT PERFECTLY!!! By simply adding a tiny section of game play where you actually use all the stuff you spent the last 3 minutes making. It creates such a sense of control and power. If this game doesn’t get infinite sequels I will firebomb the entire planet. (jokes)

So, far the only things I can think of to improve on are what Zerat said, about being able to sell things. Either being able to trade in a certain amount of ore for an item or just outright selling it all and getting gems for it. And something someone else said, upgradeable cannon balls please. Or they should scale with your level or something. Just stronger cannon balls.

falls neatly beside the rest, but stands out a little more. a very refreshing change from overly demanding food critics.

Dunno... FliplineStudios could make a shop management game where there was the endless mode, and you could create weapons even before anyone orders them and store them, then you could buy a better storage, stuff for the shop, materials. And there could be more than weapons, you could be a smith, an alchimist, a crafter, a carpenteer and more. THAT would be awesome.

What exactly is the point of leveling up? I don't notice any difference at all. I know in the restaurant games your level determined your total paycheck at the end of the week, but that doesn't really apply here. I don't think I'm getting any extra jewels, materials, etc. than I used to just because I level up.
Rank and map progress are basically the same thing, so you're getting to new locations and unlocking new weapon types and elements when you level up. If you don't level up after a day (like you'll notice later in the game), you stay in the same location the next day with nothing new unlocked.

There should be a bookmark all (and un-bookmark all) button for great weapon parts. When shopping, I often want to know if I have any great weapon designs that use that part.

I really liked the restaurant series, but it became a bit repetitive. This has the same idea, but the completely new execution makes it even better. Definitely a 5/5

Had me mesmerized, I had trouble putting it down. I would like to suggest some enemy stats (as in numbers). I thought I noticed the enemies get bigger, and a corresponding increase in power/defense, but I wasn't sure. Very long game though and very entertaining. 5/5

Alright, this is definitely a step in the right direction: Away from tedious, repetitive burger flipping and more toward design. Don't get me wrong, the forging and assembling parts are still repetitive and boring, but there is a *hint* of something with the different parts one can use. Now if only this aspect was emphasized so the player could go from weaponsmith to weapon designer, you would finally have something great. But that would mean offering the option to DELEGATE MENIAL TASKS at some point, which you still haven't understood. Oh well, maybe next time.

Ahhhhhh JackSmith, the game I come to when.... actually the game I come to all the time. I mean really, who doesn't like making weapons, then killing cool monsters with those weapons, so you can make even more weapons to kill even more Monsters!

I love the crappy weapon I made by mistake is easy to spot when carried into battle. All I can think is "oops that guys screwed."

Excellent game. 5/5. My main criticism is that there's no progression for Jack. If you decide to do a sequel, I'd recommend adding some tool upgrades, like to your hammer, forge, etc.

I love it how the only thing regarding time is some bonus jewels. You can take as long as you want, and the only penalty is no bonus. I LOVE IT.

Still playing this gem and I'm pretty sure the developer doesn't care about it anymore but a bookmark / unbookmark all button would be really-really nice :D

I am only playing this for the badge of the day. Normally, I avoid these games because they are more like work than fun. This one is a bit different though because people aren't screaming at you to "hurry up and melt that ore". I still think it's pretty funny that instead of test fitting parts you just drop them on though...
