Well it's sad to see this finally shutting down after all these years. I really regret never touching this until only a few months before the shutdown was announced. Hopefully Flipline Studios will one day create another piece like this. Also TurkeyPie, Dinowaurs is shutting down together with Remnants of Skystone.

For those who questioned about the lack of players.
The glory days of this game has passed...When the devs stopped updating it, make weapons of mastery 2 and 3 affortable only by brass...the game has died.

i began playing this when i was level 3 and now while i am level 22 i still play it and hasnt gotten boring at all and i really hope for an update!(the levels i just said are my profile's levels not the games)

This game wouldn't be dead if it was updated much more in the past. Even so, just looking at the title gives me an unbelievable sense of nostalgia.

I finally got past the second horrible jumping puzzle in Hatchwood Wilds as a ferric and GUESS WHAT? THE GAME FROZE! *mad*

rastakrokette, I completely agree to that. Flash games are developed so fast that new games come every day, and nobody plays the old games anymore = no way to get multiplayer badges.

this game is pretty close to flawless. if the prices weren't so outrageous, or spores were even more abundant, then I could gladly give this 5/5

once you reach the max level, you should be able to get free membership, or whatever it is, and you should be able to make brass out off brass bars, like pressing coins, or something, AND you should be able to sell things, like useless items/furniture.

The reason why this game is so "greedy" is the fact that in 2010, spores were easy to get because 100s of players played daily so co-oping and finding firewood was much more fun. Now that it's a ghost town after 4 years, it's going to be boring to get spores since you can't co-op with anyone now and that farming for firewood without anyone to chat with is just boring.

Great game. I like the concept of the possibility to co-op. Spores are dropped too little though. No I'm not a noob whining for too little spore drops, I have a L30 char, and earned every badge, except the 2nd hard badge. I also think that you should add skills to a character. Example: Ferrics have the ability to charge into an enemy at the cost of (...) 25hp, or simply with a recharge timer. And maybe Aeronauts teleport short distances? Niderian Points should be able to do something. Like... 500 » new weapon Tier 1 2500 » Tier 2 5000 » Tier 3. That way you earn weapons just as fast, but you get to spend more on furn and clothes. Price reducements, and special holiday items on days like christmas and such would also be nice. My compliments on the current game; but you CAN improve it. 5/5 :þ

Long live RoS, it will never die, as it will always live on in our hearts. FlipCap spent 2 years making this game, and another year or two updating it and whatnot, they can't spend all their time on a single game, you know. There's Papa's that need more restaurant chains out there, so Flip is busy :D

it is just really sad to see a game like this: well built, extremely great graphics, nice storyline, and setup go down like this, its just abandoned completely. loved this game since,well, since it was created, maybe it is grwing old, as old as the steamport factory in the game itself

yea i agree with paul_me because almost everyother game has like a free month of subscriptson or they have a special time where you can get more things when there low priced so i was thinking why not this game?

It's about time for you people to stop whining and begging for updates, RoS is officially dead now. Then again, it's way better than most (or even all?) new MMOs, which got updates, but no gameplay at all, so I strongly recommend that new players try it out... as it is, this game is huge enough to keep you busy (and hooked) for quite a long time.

This game has potential, but to really get anywhere you have to have Brass and maybe be a member of the Guard. Both of which no longer function. Still, if they did function the price is way to high for what you get. It's a shame the community died for this game, but given the requirements I'm not surprised. It would be nice to see it come back with full screen support and the full game unlocked, but I think the creator is no longer around. Doesn't mean we can't still have fun with it though. It's a bit grind heavy, but still a good game.
