It's very sad to know that Flipline Studios has abandoned this project a long time ago. I'd like to see more upgrades, because it seems it could be one of the most popular MOG's in the net.

The reason why this game is so "greedy" is the fact that in 2010, spores were easy to get because 100s of players played daily so co-oping and finding firewood was much more fun. Now that it's a ghost town after 4 years, it's going to be boring to get spores since you can't co-op with anyone now and that farming for firewood without anyone to chat with is just boring.

Three years later, and I still remember the great times we had with RoS, both playing and chatting. I still visit from time to time just because. Thanks for the memories, to both Flip and to everyone I've played with.

With so many popular MMOs shutting down 1 or 2 years after they were released, I have to say thanks to Flipline for keeping this game up for so long and thus giving us the opportunity to re-visit the places where we've had such a great time co-oping and chatting together.

Great game. Seriously, one of my favorite multiplayer games on this site. Unfortunately, it seems that the developer completely abandoned it in favor of Papa Louie games instead, which is a shame because if they were to continue updating it, I would even consider paying to join the Nidarian Guard. I looked around on the forum and apparently Flipline Studios considers this game "complete." I know they'll probably never read this comment, but if they do, please reconsider; there's so much more you could add to the story!

@KevinC1025: You can get the second medal by rating other players floats once per week. Kind of silly admittedly without them being around anymore, but it works.

K, and so could someone possibly explain why exactly getting trophies results in your enemies getting harder, or what moronic line of thought led to such a feature? Cause see, normally the idea in games is supposed to be that when you kill more of something, you get better at doing so. In this case they get exponentially tougher while we're capped the hell off at some ridiculously low level, and we're stuck with lvl 1 weapons. I can't believe they thought people would ever want to pay to play this freaking thing. I'm really happy flipline never tried anything this stupid again, but unfortunately that doesn't change the damned badges they clearly paid kongregate to give the game...not that I'm actually sure how to even get the one for nidarian points seeing as there's nobody around to rate floats or play co-op...

Wow. Wow. $7.50 for a month's membership? 30$ for 6 months? 100$ for lifetime? How high was whoever made this thing? One could go play runescape, a very regularly updated game that gives you an immense amount for members, for freaking 6 bucks or so a month. 15 gets a month's worth of WoW, which this obviously can't even hold a candle to. 40 and you can go buy diablo 3, which you don't pay any subscriber fees for. Hell, I'm not even sure why this is multiplayer, the whole thing should be single player and free, it ain't that special. I'll be honest, seeing that suddenly really hurt my opinion of this game and flipline in general. Maybe that's why no one wants to play this game, because they get damned sick of seeing that they need to be a subscriber, yet no one with even a hint of a sense of money would pay such absolutely ridiculous rates? I'm sorta glad flipline fell on their face here. They deserved it with that sort of arrogance.
