Wonderful. Absolutely magnificent. This is one of those rare gems that are so hard to find, but SO fulfilling. I wept afterwards. 5/5. Again, wonderful.

I`have to say i`m kinda dissappointed. The drawing, the setting, the music in fact the whole atmosphere is quite good. But then there is no real gaming. I found myself just useful as clicking machine without any real purpose. I don`t even think that the problem is a lack of challenge....the fact that you dont really have to do anything just makes it kind of hard to be really drawn into the game. Not to mention that its very short. I just feel that the balancing between animation and actual game elements wasnt handled as good as possible.

Ugh O.O So sad and so shocking... After I was reading the last few lines, I began hearing an imaginary person screaming < That freaked me out so bad...

Very beautiful story, and almost painful to play/read. It has an overall message, as far as many little underlying ones which help the story along. I am constantly searching for beautiful little games like this one with a story and some philosophy to make you think, and this is one of them. The beautiful and subtle art and music are wonderful as well.

This is very much like the hunchback of Notredame, except that the gypsy girl was hanged, not Quasimodo. :( This is so sad... *sniff.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game, granted it's macabre ending. The story was a unique interpretation of the old grim tale of The Hunchback. Though it may not be considered a "game," more over as a digital book or interactive movie, it was a journey I shall not forget. You, my friend, have won this woman's appreciation!

@Charybdis1618033 i would like to make a small correction to your well liked comment. you said throwing out those that do not belong even though it is clear that you meant those that do not fit in. everyone with a good heart belongs. Xp sorry for being so an@l but one stroke is all it takes to change the entire meaning of a sentence.

I don't want to be disrespectful, but you could have told the story better without slapping on some kind of alibi-interactivity. Except for throwing the stick and the pointlessly easy machinery puzzle, you could've just put in a "forward" button. 2/5 for the absolutely brillant art and story.

I can't decide what I love more -the storyline, the theme, the artwork or the music. They all come together to make a wonderful game!

Great concept, I love games like these! So beautiful and moving. I do with that there was more interaction as a player, than clicking to just keep the story moving forward. Others have suggested making the story branch out in different endings depending on our choices, and I think that would definitely be one great option too.

"Jonah saw something that made him stop"
My first thought after I walked forward and saw a Weeping Angel in front of the gate.
