Beautiful story and artwork. It wasn't much of a game, but that's ok. I truly loved it. I wish more games were like this.

The father of the murdered child was the one that you helped in finding his glasses.Though Jonah only knew the fair,he had an unfair end.

The artwork is beautiful... but the rhyme in which the story was told was not very good, and the ending was kind of predictable. Oh look, a dead lady and child and an outcast in the room, who did not do the murdering but is covered in blood. I wonder what will happen.

Simply beautiful, but ends rather sadly. There are few games that make it to a level up to par such as this one presented.

He sacrificed his life for his friend, and saved the very people who was going to put him to death. Very moving when one sees the world, in a place from which we thought we had escaped.

i did not understand this...but I can relate to Jonah...we all can....cast out for being different..the judgemental people will all BURN...

Interesting how the tall figure was holding, almost offering, an apple to Jonah. Biblical reference, perhaps? He chose not to give into this man, and instead saved the few people who had been kind to him. Very interesting story, well done.

If you think about it, the tall man who helped Jonah talked about "paying for their sin".... Makes me think of the Sodom and Gomorrah.

For some strange reason while playing this I remembered the Great Fire of London of 1666. Now, I know that might be slightly too early for steam engines which were seen in the game, but by a tiny amount only... Add the "burn" part and the name of the city "Loondon" and the (at least slightly) mysterious cause of the fire... Yes, it does remind me of 1666. I the game might have been made with that in mind. Few games, even among these artistic ones give me such a deep feeling. Favorited.

Beautiful artwork, but would be served by having the narration written by someone with a better command of the language.

This is a gorgeous game. I completely agree with Charybdis1618033. This is a lovely depiction of the dark society we have today; whereas if Jonah would have been 'beautiful' or 'handsome', this story would have ended at the gate. <3

The irony of it all is that the man who you helped find his glasses was the one who saw the untold truth of your story

Did anyone notice that you have to go DOWN the stairs into the darkness to reach the church? Lol, those guys were something like Satanists : The cat by the windows and when at the execution scene, you'll see demons under the bishop!

The man's name Jonah is a referance to the story of Jonah from the bible. In the bible, Jonah chose not to save the city. In this story, Jonah saved the city, but lost his life.

This game was nothing less than amazing. I actually felt sad, through the whole thing. But the ending the most about the choice he made for that one guy that was nice to him. I really wish there were more games like this. It's really nice to take a break from all the action, and fast paced games. And personally, I think I had a better experience with this, then any of those. Wonderful game.

sad and true ....very short....for the first time in ages i enjoy a point and click "story" i wont say game .... this one is better than being called a game. Jonah is a kind person with a deformity..... Out Casted.... he helped the guy with the glasses thats the policeman who chased him later ..... the lady in the church ignored him then killed the child..... the priest white robes
and dark soul .... Sigh.... every window in the church shows a shadow of a devil.... i didnt know what that means till the priest throws him out .... the hypnotizing guy i thought he might be an angel helping Jonah in his pursuit of happiness ... and punishing Loondon for its crimes... he spared Jonah's life , but Jonah didnt spare his own life for the sake of friendship .......goose pumps every where ..... If this game lasted longer than this i would have cried ..... loads of morals in a 10 min story...... thumps up for the good work 5/5

I think the man with the Hat and the Apple was representing God, who saw Loondon as a city full of sinners. He helped Jonah escape because Jonah was innocent. Instead Jonah sacrificed himself to save his friend, and in turn, the whole city. Beautiful, but sad, story. Stunning artwork. Great job.

Wonderful. Absolutely magnificent. This is one of those rare gems that are so hard to find, but SO fulfilling. I wept afterwards. 5/5. Again, wonderful.

I`have to say i`m kinda dissappointed. The drawing, the setting, the music in fact the whole atmosphere is quite good. But then there is no real gaming. I found myself just useful as clicking machine without any real purpose. I don`t even think that the problem is a lack of challenge....the fact that you dont really have to do anything just makes it kind of hard to be really drawn into the game. Not to mention that its very short. I just feel that the balancing between animation and actual game elements wasnt handled as good as possible.
